Partnership for getting escrap to a Buyer or I'll buy some stuff outright.

I haven't been able to locate a local escrap buyer so I've been stockpiling. No real solution is coming to mind but I'm considering taking it with me on a road trip in about 10 months. Right now, I'm just starting to make plans. As there are likely other Mainers in the same boat, I'm offering to meet with you to look into options - either splitting expenses with me or sell your stuff to me outright. I'll tell you upfront that it wouldn't be advantageous to sell me little stuff like gold fingers, eproms, chips, etc. I'd have the transport costs as well as making a profit, so you'd probably be ahead shipping stuff like that.

Anybody interested please send me a Private Message. If you're not able to PM, I think you can go to my profile and send me an email.

Yeah I hear you Mick I'm just north of you with the same problem. If we were to become buyers, then we could hire a flatbed and gaylord everything. There, problem solved.

Jimkelly (new user) made a mistake by sending me a Private Message offering to sell me a bunch of ink cartridges and toners. I hope I saved some of you from getting the same spam.

Right now I'm planning a couple trips along the East coast (probably south to NJ) and to the midwest (MO. KS and IA). Trying to plan them so they'll be profitable. When the time gets closer, I'll likely post the items and quantities in this thread as a seller and go from there.

If it makes it easier on you shipping west i deal with ewasted a lot and usually see him 2 - 3 times a month.

You can stop in rochester and pack things with one of my loads. Usually costs me about $120-$150 round trip. $200 if im pulling a trailer.

Sure, be glad to meet up. Right now, looking at making the trip mentioned above - plus Texas - in September. I need to get more stuff coming in. Things have been awful slow lately. The wife retires at the end of May. We were talking about her doing some marketing for me then.
