Jaydee...You seem to be asking two questions, so I will answer what I believe you are asking.
First...I do not buy stand alone LCD monitors. Sorry.
In terms of laptops:
For P3 and P4, as long as the screen is not visibly cracked or showing as broken (when you see the wave patterns in it, it is broken), we pay the good screen price. Since the unit does not have to power on, there is no screen test other than showing as broken.
For the Core 2, please note that I gave the MINIMUM price. Some are far higher. For example, I just purchased a non-working HP DV9000. It had an unbroken screen, an 80 gb hard drive, battery and charger. It was in good physical condition but it did not power up, though the blue light came on. I paid $70 delivered for that one. Meanwhile a Fujitsu B series with deep scratches, no HD or memory was worth $30.
