Denis is as good as it gets. I've sent him material numerous times in the past few months ranging from $100-$1500...he's always paid ASAP after receiving my invoice. Also willing to answer questions. More than a buyer, he's a great resource in general. If you haven't taken the opportunity to sell material to Denis yet, I highly suggest you do so.

I understand your fear of the driving mountain thing but your imagination of what would happen could be a good story line...

edit: I also want to add how relieved I was to make it there safely. I have a 95 F-150. 2600 pounds including my cap was what I was hauling. Also, I white knuckle over bridges, through the mountains and go about 25 mph through tunnels. I have a HUUUGE fear of something happening to my vehicle while driving it.

double edit: I had my Fiance and dog with me as well. So if something DID happen .... oh man. I just imagine going down hill with the weight, making a right turn around a bank through the mountains when suddenly ..... boom driver side front tie rod goes, entire truck does a nosedive into the barrier. Either we go off the cliff or we're pancaked between the wall and the load. That's what goes through my head and it drives me nuuuts.

Just got back from seeing Denis over the weekend of December 1st. I brought him (about) 1600 pounds of memory, 400 pounds of hard drive boards, as well as all of my slot chips and rambus.

He was very quick with his e-mails. We were e-mailing each other from noon til 10 that night. Very responsive and detail oriented.

Drive was nice, very mountainous if you're coming from the West. I was driving from Cleveland. Also 4 tunnels if you take the turnpike....just a warning.

The payment came to over $30,000.

It went as smooth as it could have. I drove it all there in my truck, and got the chance to meet and shake hands with Denis. Real friendly guy, real simple stuff. Everything is cut and dry. Pulled my truck into his heated shop, unloaded everything with a tow motor. Weighed everything in front of each other, agreed on weights and that was that. No smoke and mirrors here.



He drove me to the bank in his vehicle, where I got the chance to meet his bank manager. Everyone was extremely friendly, and seemed to know Denis personally. He handed me over the signed certified check, we shook hands and I left. Real quick in and out. Check cleared in 7 days. Half of it cleared in 3.

Edit: OKAY --- My Fiance has a huge issue with what I posted for Denis' review. She does not think that the drive was that bad. I ... hate driving when the cliff to the left looks like my imminent death. I, on the other hand, was literally ****ting myself the whole time. /sarcasm off I feel like a real wuss towards anyone who lives by the rockies by the way.

On Tuesday I mailed a package of material to Denis. He received it today and I just now received my payment. A great transaction and great person to do business with. I'm already working on the next box.
