We have a military contract to lift all the spent shells for 5 years. And we are recovering from those.
I estimate to collect around a minimum of 7000 pounds in the current lot of shells i have. Currently i am in the process of removing steel and brass out from the lot.

New to the site Stumbled onto this tonight. What's the going rate for carbide inserts
Large silver contacts from large circuit breakers and magnetic start switches, the silver is sweated into a tungsten wafer that becomes the contact pad. When this type of contact is refined for the silver the wafer stays behind in the leach usually turning into a Gray powder.
The reason your not receiving these as scrap tungsten is that the pads are sold on ebay as scrap silver.
Cmanson I will send price per pound in PM but I think you have it turned off
local company that made breakers closed down not to long ago and we got a 55 gallon drum of the unused little carbide buttons in the contactors but I would definitely scrap it for the silver over the carbide.
Ok changed the setting try it again

Yes....but only after the radiation is gone....you have to leave them in the sun outside for a long time. A couple guys sell us X-ray machine parts and they just leave them in the sun till they're uncontaminated.
