Except for tooling tips & drill bits the only other use I know of is train brake pads. (since I saw a picture of one once) they clamp down onto each side of the train rail track & act a brakes.
Though they could be emergancy brakes only.



I suggest, start looking for tungsten carbide websites & see what they make parts for.
