Buying Used Networking, Data Storage, Telecom, Point-of-Sale Hardware, LCD's

I am always buying new and used (must be working) equipment that recyclers and e-waste scrappers see regularly. I can pay much higher than scrap values for any equipment with resale value, and I specialize in bulk purchases. I've seen many of you here on the forum looking for people to buy GOOD equipment so you can keep from having to scrap it out. I can make this an easy process for you. Just send part numbers and quantities, and I'll let you know if your gear has value and make you a fair offer. I ALSO PAY SHIPPING COSTS FOR ALL PURCHASES.

I can vouch for john and his company. Allthough the payment was a little slow comming on my first shipment to him it did come none the less. I am sure now that he is a member of the forum his customer service will step up a notch and be what we all come to expect from our forum buyers.

I have had a few members ask about LCD monitors. I can buy bulk lots of 17" or larger LCD monitors, A or B grade.

    Grading Scale

    A. Screen is flawless, no scratches, pressure points, etc. May have MINOR scratching on Back or Stand. No screen discoloration

    B. Screen may have no more than one scratch/pressure mark no more than 1 inch in size. May have scratching on back or stand. No more than 4 dead pixels. No other screen discoloration.

    C. Screen has multiple or large scratches or other pressure marks over 1 inch in size. Must be in a condition that is practical to use for everyday tasks.

    D. Unit does not power on or is not functional.

Price will depend on model and grade. I am currently not buying "C" or "D" grade monitors, but I will update if that changes.

    Thanks!

how about 200 rack mount power strips. or for that matter a few glass door server racks in good cond. Those are in Nashville.

also have 10 or more pallets of Cisco server switches in Birmingham.
all this stuff is from a Fortune 100 military contractor. they are changing their entire system because the warrentys are up. cant sell the servers or hard drives for national security resions.

Just saw your edit. PM me with what info you have on the switches, and I'll let you know what I can do. For the servers, can you sell them if you remove the hard drives?

At what point do you consider the quantity "bulk"? And what is your purchase price for server ram?

Thanks for the questions, I'll try to answer the best I can

At what point do you consider the quantity "bulk"?
Basically, if you are saving something up one at a time, unless market demand is pretty high, I am probably not your best source. I am much better suited to buy equipment you get from business takeouts, or other large takeouts that leave you with a large quantity of IT or telecom equipment. Find a barcode scanner on the curb? Ebay it. Get 20 from a grocery store takeout? I can help, and I will happily give you backing numbers for the equipment before-hand if it will help you get the job.

For Monitors, I need a minimum of a pallet to make it worth shipping. I'd say for these, anything from 50-5,000.

And what is your purchase price for server ram?
The market is a little different than regular non-ecc RAM, as customers really don't buy anything low-end.

I can generally pay [edited out outdated pricing], depending on part numbers.

    I hope this helps.

This did help. I have a buyer for my server RAM and prices are about the same but I have to cover the shipping. Once i accumulate enough for a load I may be in contact with you.

I generally buy only server grade cpu's, and only in bulk. There are other buyers on here who can help you with that. I really look to stock complete servers, with resale value.

Had my first experience dealing with John this last week. Talk about a nice guy!! A real pleasure to speak to and work with.

While this transaction was by no means a real profitable deal for either one of us, I learned a lot, and look forward to working with him again.

One of the most important things I learned, was TO WEAR MY D*** GLASSES, and pay attention.

I sent 30 Cisco Voip phones down, and it appears that while they can all look pretty much the same, little details like a "G" after the model number, can make a BIG difference. I looked at 2 units, when we were talking on the phone, and they both CP7940"G". WELLLLLL the old, ASS U ME that all the rest were the same, got me!

Thanks, John, for your understanding! I hear by publicly announce, that me, I, daBroJer, WILL... PAY MORE ATTENTION ...TO DETAIL! (maybe should get new glasses, too)
