Buying Silver Mylars and finger cards PREMIUM PRICING FOR NO BRACKET!!

7/10/13 HUGE THANKS to everyone from this community that offered support during the process of dealing with the fire. It made me proud to be a member of such a great community.

We are back up and running in a streamlined format. I'm going to focus on purchasing ONLY bracketless finger cards (risers allowed, but only if they are not the majority of the load) and silver keyboard mylar by the pound. In order to make things simpler for everyone, there will only be one price paid for the bracketless cards, regardless of type (excluding risers).

Pricing per # as of 12/03/13
    Silver Mylars $3.25
    Bracketless finger cards $3.90
    Trimmed Bracketless Finger Cards $2.40

As of right now, that is all I'm interested in buying. I'm happy to be back once again providing another venue for the many fine members of this forum. I apologize for having to shut everything down, it's been a brutal last 3 months having to sit on my hands until everything was resolved. I appreciate your patience.

Prices are goods shipped to 49738. I'm willing to work on the honor system to start, and pay first via Paypal. All transactions are subject to my approval.

If you have any questions, please post them here, send me a PM on the forum, or email me wd8mqx@hotmail.com. The Hotmail email is also the email to send invoices to for paypal payments.

NOTE:PLEASE NO CARBON OUTLINED MYLARS. The Carbon will not separate from the silver, and they cannot be refined by the method that I'm going to use.

Do you know an average on how many mylars are in a pound? Just curious is all I stopped breaking them down long time ago but might start again.

I average about 25 keyboards per pound. To me it's worth it, because I don't have a local buyer for the keyboards whole, but if I break them down, I can get paid for the plastic and sometimes there is a nice steel plate in there. Plus a small board that sometimes has a gold finger on it.

I think I'm going to start with a .50 cents per pound premium for finger cards (isa/pci) that have had the bracket removed. This is a complete gamble for me, but from the conversation on the board in the past month or so, a move that a lot of people want to see. Rewarding e-cyclers for delivering a higher grade product.

Bump, that is a good price on the mylar. Are you listed in the buyer/seller section yet. I once wieghed up a pound of mylar but forgot the number of sheets it took to make a pound but if I remember right it is about twenty five keyboards or 50 sheets.

Awesome. Where are you located in MA? Do you have anything else to ship with the mylar? If it's just the mylar by itself, I would think USPS regular parcel post will probably be the best bet.

Someone asked a question, and I thought it was worth posting here:

Q:Can we cut the mylars in half to ship them?
A:Yes, feel free to cut the mylars in half or quarters in order to save on shipping. Please leave the pieces large enough that I can confirm they are indeed mylar. I don't want to open any boxes full of random sheets that look like they went through a paper shredder.
