Buying Silver Mylars and finger cards PREMIUM PRICING FOR NO BRACKET!!

7/10/13 HUGE THANKS to everyone from this community that offered support during the process of dealing with the fire. It made me proud to be a member of such a great community.

We are back up and running in a streamlined format. I'm going to focus on purchasing ONLY bracketless finger cards (risers allowed, but only if they are not the majority of the load) and silver keyboard mylar by the pound. In order to make things simpler for everyone, there will only be one price paid for the bracketless cards, regardless of type (excluding risers).

Pricing per # as of 12/03/13
    Silver Mylars $3.25
    Bracketless finger cards $3.90
    Trimmed Bracketless Finger Cards $2.40

As of right now, that is all I'm interested in buying. I'm happy to be back once again providing another venue for the many fine members of this forum. I apologize for having to shut everything down, it's been a brutal last 3 months having to sit on my hands until everything was resolved. I appreciate your patience.

Prices are goods shipped to 49738. I'm willing to work on the honor system to start, and pay first via Paypal. All transactions are subject to my approval.

If you have any questions, please post them here, send me a PM on the forum, or email me wd8mqx@hotmail.com. The Hotmail email is also the email to send invoices to for paypal payments.

NOTE:PLEASE NO CARBON OUTLINED MYLARS. The Carbon will not separate from the silver, and they cannot be refined by the method that I'm going to use.

I have 2 tons of Keyboards right now sitting on my shop floor... debating if it is worth tearing them apart.

If you have a plastic buyer, it might be worth it

Yeah, with a plastic buyer, I would say go for it. No plastic buyer, you might want to just try to sell the gaylords off whole.

You don't by any chance know roughly how many keyboards it takes to get a pound of these sheets do you?

So you are offering roughly $4.90 # for finger cards with the bracket removed? Or are you still thinking about that idea? I have always removed the brackets and its nice to get a little better pricing.

I would have to see the mylars first, and talk to the refiner about them. Do you have pics?

Right now I know I can't refine the mylars with the black/carbon on them. Only the silver ones.

How many pounds do you have? I'm gonna pay the $4.90# for the finger cards, finger on, no bracket, just to see how it turns out.

I have some more boxes to break down tomorrow, but will get you a weight on the cards. I will send whatever mylars I have too.

I am no where near selling any mylar right now, I just want to make sure someone pays for it before I pull it from any more laptops I strip.

Those should work. I just can't use the ones with the black dots over all the traces, or the contact spots.

Oh, and please pull the little cup/cone thingies off all the mylars if they come out with the mylar. This will save you on shipping significantly, and I don't need them.

Just to clarify the carbon outlined mylars are those that have a black background color?

Disregard my previous question. I couldn't get your photos to load on my computer from the forum the last couple of tries. I can see them now.

Yep. I'm on the road trying to dig up business this week, so I won't be in until Friday night to take some pictures, but when I get back in, I'll take some pics of what not to send. Basically if it has Black dots over the contact spots, or black tracing, or an all black background, I can't use it.
