Why the range in prices for hard drive boards and why does someone have to wait five days for balance of their money? If I remember correctly there was a buyer here who was doing that because they had to ship materials to the home office and it caused some problems for them. Are you a franchise location for the home office? You will find that transparency will be your best bet in gaining the trust and business from members here.

Question 1:The range in pricing for the hard drive boards is because the range in types. EXAMPLE: average scuzzi drive board contains around 250ppm of Au where as your average sata drive board contains around 100ppm of Au.

Question 2: We are not a franchise company. Our original yard is in Phoenix arizona. I was hired on over a year ago after selling my E-waste business to create, Manage and oversee ALL aspects of the ewaste divisions in each one of our locations ( Phoenix, AZ / Manchester,NH / Atlanta ,GA / New Bern, NC). I However live in and operate out of the New Hampshire Branch where ALL Boards end up for processing before they head out to the mill. Anyone may send their boards to any of the other locations but the price difference will be significant due to a couple of factors

2a: Cost of Shipping from my branches to me wich is around $0.12lb - $0.15lb
2b: Cost of the Branch employee to seperate and clean the boards $0.05lb
2c: Cost of the branch Manager to proffit before he sends to me $0.0?lb

So To honor the pricing I have posted please send it to the Manchester,New Hampshire branch. If i seem transparent I appologize please give me a call because as ironic as it is I am not the most computer savvy person. OH and i forgot to post a few other things .

1: Mixed and Uncatagorized Boards = Sorted on site and ussually range from $3.00lb to $3.50lb

2: Address of the new hampshire branch is
    Phoenix Automotive Cores
    140 Hayward Street
    Manchester, NH 03103

3: We also buy Catalytic converters

If there are any other questions or you would like some refferences feel free to ask and check out our website and my profile on LINKEDIN.Com

The 50% / 50% is for larger loads that will take more time to look thrue a gaylord or two. I understand your concerns but you also have to understand that i can not pay out 100% on a load of boards that will consume more time to sort thru then the seller has to wait around.

Full article at Scrap Metal Forum: http://www.scrapmetalforum.com/scrap...#ixzz2d9D9XRoL

How much time does it take for you to sort a gaylord of mixed boards? From what I have read from other people that have delivered large loads to other buyers, there is never a problem getting in and out in a timely manner and getting paid the same day.
Sorry if it seems I am nitpicking but still can not get past the 50% now and 50% later payout.

The 50% / 50% is more for clients who send me more then a few gaylords. I sometimes get half a trailer of boards. The 50%/50% doesnt apply to smaller loads that can be sorted thru in a timely manner if the seller is present..And alot of times the seller isnt present when his loads arrive so rather then disrupt the plan of the day product gets weighed in and properley plackered then staged in its order of presidence. I am not the one to sort thru the boards I have two well experienced employees to sort. I will however welcome the first time seller and answer as many questions as i can while his product is being sorted thru.

I dont see see any questions as nit picking because I used to be on the otherside of the transaction table when i owned my own e-waste Businesses so feel free to ask as many questions as you like and will answer as many as I can .

I emailed Sean with several questions I had about other boards and he was good to respond and seems to know a good deal about boards and their values. Some of his prices are higher and some are lower due to what he needs to buy. He does take small box shipments and doesn't require large volume. I'm going to call him so I can speak to him personally when I get enough of certain types of boards to send.

Mick- that copper price is just the spot price that they base pricing on

When texting to my cell phone for the first time please also include your name and where your from so I can program you in. Mick will you also explain to me how the thread system works? Will i just have to update this thread every now and again for pricing or will i have to start a new thread? Also how do i keep my thread at the top of the list so it doesnt FADE AWAY ?

Sean, thanks. No, not urgent. For reference to sort my stuff. On the thread questions - Admin (the site owner) is the one to answer those. He'll likely chime in shortly or you can open a ticket and he'll get back with you. Pricing updates can be made on this thread, though.
