    I'm no expert in this stuff, but when I took one apart I disconnected the wires from the back of the tube and then hit the very top sideways while the yoke was still on. I think it just keeps all the impact at the top. Then I ripped out the gun, unscrewed all the clamps and slid the yoke off. You shouldn't have to break the screen at all.
