Now buying a few different things.

I'm going to be buying a few things off and on. Prices will be for items delivered to zip 36344.

Cast Iron Valve Handles $1.50 / lb These can be cast iron or a few aluminum. I want the ornate and colorful round water valve handles, but a few can be rusty. I don't need the flat bar handles.
This price is good for handles up to 5". Email first if you have larger ones, I may want them. No broken handles please. Some may have the brass stem left in them
if you are using a chop saw to remove them. Just make sure not to cut into the handle too much.

Hard Drive Spacer Rings not currently needed / lb These are the shiny rings that go between the hard drive platters.

Hard Drive Retainer Rings/Caps not currently needed / lb These are the rings with multiple holes for screws that hold the platters to the motor.

New item for a limited time Watches and metal Watch Bands $3.00 / lb. I need a few pounds of watches and bands for now.

I won't be able to prepay, and sometimes I won't be fast during peak farming times. My email is csknnr@aol.com

Prices are subject to change, so check before shipping.

Here's a picture of the valve handles I'm looking for. They don't have to be perfect, just not broken.

Yes for crafts or art. I met some ladies at the scrap yard who make flowers from them. They look pretty good when all painted up with stems and leaves, plus you don't have to water them. After talking to them I found that there are lots of people using them for art. Some make flowers, some make steampunk items and some use them in a kind of mosaic. I'm not artistic at all myself, so I'm glad others are and I can find things for them to work with.

Oh, and of course, I've now started keeping the really neat looking ones to decorate/clutter my shop with. .......sigh.......

Collecting...that's what I thought, too. There's a zillion neat handle designs out there. The older ones are the handles where the manufacturers seemed to put a little artistic effort into.

Start a wall in your shop and screw the interesting ones to it. I had done this at one time with the metal machinery plates I collect.

Copperli.....right now, I'd say I could use around 100 lbs of the handles. I think the flat rate box is going to be the only way to ship them economically. I weighed a small flat rate box and its 3 lbs so it won't work out.

Sawmilleng.....the machinery plates are great too. I have a few nice ones, can't remember where I put them. On the wall would be a better place to keep track of them.

Sir. your contribution to the arts is seemingly inexhaustible.

I haven't heard of anything, but I will ask when I see them again. You never know what people will use to create art.

I found out that our local library is not going to do the crafts again this year, so my market is limited for the hard drive rings and caps. I have plenty for now and have to stop buying until I can reduce the inventory. I'm still buying the other items though. Thanks.

About the watches and metal watch bands…can they be broken or do you need them whole. I know this question sounds strange, but if they're for scrap condition wouldnt matter too much, but if for re-use, then it may matter! Thanks in advance and please forgive my ignorance!

No problem, it's actually a good question. They will be used for arts and crafts so it's ok if they are not working, broken or even some in pieces. As long as someone could use them to decorate with, they will be fine.
