Are you all tired of paying high freight prices on your LTL and TL shipments? If you have say 300 lbs you want to ship and have a way to put on a pallet and attach the shipment to the pallet I may be able to save you a few dollars. Of course the more weight you ship the cheaper the cost per pound. If you would like a quote you can email me at gorven@comcast.net or call me at 814-443-6389.

I have been ask in many conversations what information do I need to get a quote? So Below is the information that I need to give a accurate quote.

1. Origin Zipcode and Destination Zipcode

2. Weight if you have it if not a close estimate will get you a idea of cost.

3. Commercial or Residential Address

4. If commercial address do you have a dock or a forklift if not no problem we send a liftgate equipped trailer

5 If residential is there easy access to your house?

6. Residential needing a liftgate is the highest rated freight in the LTL shipping business. My suggestion if possible is load on your truck or trailer and take to the trucking companies loading dock. Doing that gives the same rate as a commercial address with loading dock.

7. Dimensions of Pallet

When ready to ship I will need.

1. Your address

2. Telephone Number

3. Email Address to send BOL and Address labels too

4. All destination info

At less then 20 cents a pound, with superior super duper stellar customer service there's no way to go wrong with Terry...

At 8 PM I mailed Terry about my load being ready - at 3 PM the next day, it was picked up. Not to mention me pestering him for various prices/quotes while I was packing everything up, and never had to wait for answers.

You're a star Terry - there's no way I'm shipping anything with anyone else

I spoke with Terry last night to find out how much weight I need to make it worth shipping pallets. Knowing I did not have a shipment to make, and unsure when I might, he still went above and beyond what I was asking for.

With the information I gained, and because of the treatment I recieved, I am going to try harder than before to step up to pallet size loads. This is the company that will be handling those shipments.

If you're not using Terry and moving Gaylord Boxes, you're likely leaving money on the table. I can ship an 800# Gaylord from my warehouse for less money than most people can Fedex 3-4 boxes. His rates are competitive with the rest of the freight industry, and you're working with a long time SMF member.

Well guys, Terri is all you could ask for and more, He is professional, honest, and always avaibile, I did not know Terri but from the other members on the SMF reviews, I called Teri and he handled all the details of the shipment in addition to the transportation he introduced me to a buyer I had never heard of. The Gaylord's were picked up in the time frame the trucking company said they would be there in on Tuesday, the shipment was at the buyer on Thursday on Friday nite Terri emailed me a copy of the settlement. If you have ever read any of my posts or took my advise on many subjects on the SMF. I would recomend Teri and his services, his freight rates are great, his buyer pays some of the highest prices, and not to mention the weights were right on the money, I advise any one to at least get in touch with Terri and see what he can do to increase your bottom line. I will be using Terri for a long time and suggest you should also Happy Scraping 1956.

I finally shipped my first pallet yesterday, and it arrived at it's destination today. So much faster than FedEx.

Terry Is highly recommended for first time shippers. Very patient and knowledgeable. Went above and beyond.

He will definitely be handling my next freight shipment, and any after that as well.

Making a note to start saving some bigger weight shipments so that I can try the Gorven express.

Doing business with honorable people is what you strive for, at least thats what i strive for, and the way you truly find out if the people you are dealing with are honorable is not when every thing goes right, its when a little hiccup arises and how those people react to the situation and how they handle them selfs and take care of the problem. With out going into details, and with out hesitation Terry rectified the problem we had with this weeks shipment, Terry is a gentleman and as honest as they come, I do not throw many bouquets of flowers but Terry is the person you should be doing business with if you are not already, this forum is all about information and thats why i feel it is important for members to share there experiences with one another, if you can,, share both your good and bad experiences with other members it will help weed out the shhhhhitty ones and give the good ones like Terry the reputation they should have. My SMF family I have been doing this LTL freight service awhile now and would just like to point out away for you to save money on shipping LTL even if you dont have a business address with dock and forklift. Most of all here have a pickup or trailer pack up your pallet on the bed of your pickup or on your trailer and take it to the closest terminal you will get the same great discount threw my services as those who have a dock or a forklift. Shipping from a residence and needing a liftgate is the trucking companies dream as this is were they get there highest rates for a number of reasons lots of times there is limited access to the property or curbside parking which makes it almost impossible to get the rig to the pickup point. If you havent tried my service please give me a try it may be save you some money and as Ben said a penny saved is a peny earned(not as good a quote as Sirwould have came up with) Anyway thanks for reading.

I sent him a pm last week. He called me back in 5 minutes. Gave me a great quote also. Haven't done any business w him yet but so far great customer service. Will definitely use in near future.
