If it's old (pre-1990), before you scrap it, get in touch with me. If you're not sure what you've got, I'm also happy to answer questions (or at least try to).
Edit: Old digital calculators/adding machines too!

I have been dreading posting this review, however I feel I have been given no choice.
I contacted FLimits in May of this year regarding some vintage computer equipment I had. During the next four months we had many discussions via email, text, and phone about this equipment as well as some “new” vintage equipment that had come into my possession including an extremely rare Apple Lisa 2/5 computer. FLimits agreed to market and sell this rare and valuable computer (as well as a few other items) on her eBay account for me. I in turn would send her many of the vintage computer parts I had for free.
On August 10th The Apple Lisa computer sold for $1575.00 and many of the other parts sold for much smaller sums of money.
Detailed listing of that computer is here but it’s about to hit “90” mark and expire.
Apple Lisa 2 5 System Working Complete Still Smart and Beautiful | eBay
Many of the items received positive feedback and no problems were reported. FLimits told me on more than one occasion that the funds had cleared and we will “settle up our accounts”. Throughout the month of September she became less responsive to any attempt I made to communicate with her. I have tried to be patient because I was aware she was in the middle of a big move however it’s been over 45 days since she has responded to me. All my attempts to reach out to her are met with silence.
I had some initial concerns for her well-being because her lack of responsiveness did not seem typical. However I have kept an eye on her eBay account and she has been making recent purchases one of which was an Apple II plus computer which closed on November 3. I really cannot find a suitable reason as to why she is not able to take 5 minutes out of her day and respond to me. Or to log into PayPal and send me the funds.
As I see it she has stolen over $1500 from me. I feel like a sucker because I trusted many of the reviews left for her on this site. Those funds are sorely needed an it makes me sick to my stomach to think about it.
I cannot in my heart recommend FLimits as a good buyer or a positive experience. If she does read this and "settle up" with me then I may rescind this review however I have my doubts.
I know many of you will probably stand up for her and defend her. I would of too four months ago. But I can no longer sit idly by holding my tongue.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to PM me. I don't want to turn this thread into he said she said debacle.
Thanks
Not defending anyone, an what not.
Did you try emailing the eBay account in question? Did you email her personal email? Or just the one above?
Good luck with everything.

Why would you give a valuable item like that to somebody else to sell? You could just as easily allowed the other person to setup an auction with your own account.
The computer marketplace is full of people looking for rare items to flip and make money on, and they don't care how they get those items.
Sirscrapalot,
I have emailed, texted, called, left voice messages many times over pleading with her to give me an update. I get nothing back.
Unknownk,
I never physically gave her the machine. I maintained ownership throughout the entire auction. I put my trust in Flimits based on her reviews here and my previous interactions with her. To be honest she did an amazing job marketing and listing the machine. Much better than I could of done. Looking back I certainly could have avoided this predicament and taken another route but hindsight is 20/20 right?
But this thread is not about me and what I should if done. It’s about the services offered on this forum by an individual and my experience with them.
I know your very knowledgeable in regards to vintage computers however not everyone on this forum is. It can be a little intimating trying to research, properly test and sell vintage equipment if you know very little about it.
Wasn't coming down on ya B.
My quote wasn't towards you specifically, it just fit the post.
Hopefully FL can pop in or get in touch with you, or you with her, an things will get worked out.
Good luck.

was this ever resolved.......I had good biz with FL limits
As of 12/3/14 it has not been resolved. If anyone knows anything about her state-of-being, I as well as many others would like to hear about it.
Thanks
Hey, Any update on your dealing with FLimits ? I just got some old working stuff that I was going to contact her on but I don't have time for games. I hope she is alright and you can work this out. There are so many good people on this forum
I hate to hear stories like this one and I hope there is some resolution that pleases the parties involved. That's a pretty large chunk O change . I hope you can work it out.
I found a ICP Cary,nc.old computer it has a 1024i video card in it model #icp6751. Any ideas what I have.
Unfortunately this buyer was accused of some shady dealings and never stepped forward to remedy the situation........This is one of many buyers threads that needs to be removed from the registry
I have an old Zenith Data Systems SupersPort laptop from (if my suspect memory serves) 1989 that ran on MS DOS 3.0, and still have all the floppies that include (again, suspect memory) the original PacMan game. I actually had two of them, but one of my friends is the lead architect crunching code for some defense contractor and decided he wanted to play with the other one, so I gave it to him as a birthday gift a while back. The battery is dead, obviously, but it still powers up fine on A/C and worked fine the last time someone played around with it a couple of months ago. Laptops then were heavy as hell, and I've been thinking of putting up on eBay to see what sort of offer it might fetch, but thought I'd see if you want it. Let me know.
