Smile We buy Used Cell Phones WITH Batteries

We are actively buying used Cell Phones to be repaired and refurbished in foreign countries. There is still a market there for the low end GSM phones, so we will be able to pay higher prices for mixed lots of cell phones with or without backs and batteries. No need to sort your phones. We will pay the same rate with and without backs and batteries. We are looking to build relationships and set up routine purchases. Please let us know if you have phones to sell.

    Thanks

Current PRICING For Scrap Metal Forum Members as of 1/1/2015:

Thank you all for your responses and feedback. We are rather new to the industry and trying to assess where we need to be predicated on Market conditions. We are offering more aggressive pricing for Scrap Metal Forum Users than our website will reflect. Again, we are trying to establish some long term partnerships to acquire used cell phone lots on a regular basis.

We will pay for phones prior to shipment using Paypal.

What we need the most is used GSM phones. GSM only phones include phones from AT&T, Cingular and T-Mobile .We are buying phones that will be refurbished and resold. We are paying a premium to get low end phones that can be reused. We want to offer Scrap Metal Forum users a way to get premium prices for phones that we can reuse. If a batch of phones has obviously been water damaged, meaning from entire lots left outside and ruined, please do not send them to us.

Currently, we will pay $7.25/pound for GSM only phones with or without backs and batteries . GSM only phones include phones from AT&T, Cingular and T-Mobile. They can be any manufacturer but the phone must work on one of those three networks and it must use a Li-ion battery. Li-ion batteries only. Please no NI batteries. They can also be any Blackberry phone model 9000 or higher even if they are not a GSM Phone (If you are not sure about the Blackberries, ask ahead of time). Phones should not be water damaged from Lots left outside in the rain. Please contact us for pre-approval prior to shipping these phones.

Currently, we will pay $4.25/pound for ALL unsorted cell phones, with or without backs and batteries. Cell phones only please. Please NO pocket PC's, PAs, cordless telephones, beepers, or pagers. Phones should not be water damaged, etc. Shipments should less than 25% "brick" type phones. Li-ion batteries only, no NI batteries please.

Please contact me directly with any questions.

Thank you for your interest and consideration.

Price list please. An if to many phones...then the more popular models if you could be so kind.

Much as I love emailing people, it's a lot easier to just open your thread an view updated pricing/current pricing.

    Thanks!

Spring Rock Recycling: Recycle Your Cell Phones

Here is the web site. I would not ship anything blindly to this company without checking the price list. Phones can range from $6.00# down to $2.25# depending on type you send in.

To the OP, it will benefit you to post a price list here as well as discuss the different type of phones you accept. Seems as though there are a few "conditions" that you have on material you pay for.

Brasscatcher. yes, we are not really looking for "scrap" phones. We are looking for phones that can be repaired and reused in foreign countries. But this also lets us pay a lot more than scrap for phones that most people would consider as scrap. We are trying to let SMF members make some additional money on their phones. Also, notice that we pay with or without batteries. As batteries can be 30% or more of the weight, our prices can be 30% or more higher than no battery pricing.
