Buying Computer Parts and Laptops for Greater than Scrap Value

I'm glad to be back, helping the community! I've added more hard drive and memory testing stations, so we're ready for your stuff!

I look forward to working with you! We purchase a lot of more than scrap value parts, including CPUs, RAM, and HDDs. We also purchase graphics cards and complete laptops! Feel free to PM me anytime, or you can E-Mail me here. I can also chat with you via telephone or text messaging if you like, but Wyoming cell service is notoriously bad.

Prices Please see our Google Spreadsheet for current pricing:

In the spreadsheet below is a list of most of what we are purchasing for greater than scrap value. We are looking for working items in good shape. I test all items, and they must be in working order to receive these prices. Failed items will be paid at our current scrap prices. Items will be paid at the prices effective on the day that your lot is received (Not when you ship). We try not to change prices too often. You can view prices below. There is a copy of the packing slip for download, or a fillable one in the spreadsheet if you'd prefer. Please contact me to obtain a lot number for larger shipments

Please click here for packing slip! Please place a copy in each box you send

Please let me know before you send a lot- there is only one me- I will make sure to take care of you, but it helps a LOT to know what's coming, so I can make my schedule around it. This way your lot is tested as quickly as possible, and that means money in your pocket faster!

For larger lots, I cannot recommend our resident freight shipper on the forum (You all know who I'm talking about!) highly enough! If you ship a pallet, I can pick it up at the NPT freight terminal, so there is no charge for liftgate service

The fun part (Well, for you at least ) : We pay either through PayPal or by money order- your choice! Please note that there is a $5.00 fee deducted for payments sent via money order to cover the cost of the money order and postage. For PayPal payments, you are liable for all their fees. We cannot guarantee PayPal fee costs. We cannot send payment to anyone other than yourself or the company that you represent- no third parties!

Prices are subject to change without notice. We are in uncertain times as you all know- we try not to change prices, but in the event of market changes, prices may change. All lots are paid out at the rates in effect on the date that they are received, not the day that they are postmarked. Shipping reimbursement or partial prepayment is handled on a case-by-case basis. All boxes need to have an inventory list with your name, SMF username (If you have one), lot number, preferred payment method (PayPal or Money Order), the address for payment to be made to, and an E-Mail that can be used to contact you. We have a nice little form that you can use for just that to make it nice and easy!

I'm proud to have worked with many of the same clients for the last few years, and I look forward to working with you too!

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are now purchasing vintage hard drives and RAM! Please let me know what you have, and I'll be more than happy to get you a quote on your old treasures!

We'll be adding another category next week.

In the meantime, we're also suspending laptop power adapters temporarily. I should have a large lot coming in that'll take a little while to process.

    Don't worry- they'll be back!

Just a word about Wyatt. He's a very fair and knowledgeable person on computers. Took my pile which I was going to turn in for basically pennies and turned it into hundreds! Look forward to a long friendship!

A quick reminder: Desktop memory will end in no letter, or will end in a "U" (Such as PC2-6400U)

Any RAM that ends in an E, F, P, or R is server memory (Such as PC2-5300E). We do not purchase server memory at the moment.

    Thanks!

    Changes and updates:

Again, please remember that server RAM is completely different from desktop RAM. Server RAM is usually counted as scrap RAM.

Also, as our remodel finishes, we'll be accepting certain desktop computers! Systems will need to have a valid, legible COA.

Pricing details will be soon to follow. The most valuable systems will be the Dell Core 2 Duo Dell OptiPlexes (745, 755, 760, ....)

Thanks to everyone who has helped us grow to this point!

    Please Note:

We've had a lot of F-Type server RAM coming in over the last week, so we will be removing that from our pricing lists for a little while.

Also, toward the end of this week, processing times may take a little longer- we have a really large lot coming in, and that will have to be processed first.

Thanks to all the sellers that have helped us grow!

Sorry I didnt get to your pm yet/ I will shortly. I got to drag that color laser jet in and try it out. Beast weights a 100 lbs. Curious. Brand new in the box Geil 2 x 1 gig pc6400 geil ram...price? Was saving for my collection, but thinking of blasting on ebay. Rather help a fellow smf member out if you have need. Its brand new, because it was a rma from geil.

Not a problem! Are there any Special features on that RAM. It'll likely go as straight DDR2, but Geil did make some gaming sets.

As for the Color LaserJet, if you can find out if it works, the model, and the page count, I can get you a rough valuation on it. If you need instructions on printing off the page counter, please let me know what model it is, and I can let you know the procedure.

    Thanks!

Some of you already know this, but for those who don't:

Our Cody office sustained some flood damage last week. Nothing major was lost, but we have moved to a new processing facility. Most of our equipment is in place, and we'll be back to normal processing speed by the end of this week.

We've also made adjustments to our RAM and HDD prices. We look forward to your lots!

We do have some DDR3 RAM in, but no LGA 1156 CPUs currently. After a few more posts, you should be able to PM me, or you can always e-mail me. The address is in the first post. Do you know what capacity and speed you're looking for in the DDR3?

    Thanks!

We had a bunch of whole surplus desktops, Wyatt made a good offer on them and with the shipping reimbursement everything ended up being spot on. He was very easy to work with and paid very promptly!
