Buying Computer Scrap,Laptops and LCD's

I've been reading through this thread for a while now, and am going to start looking into sending some of my stuff here. This place has much better prices in terms of what they pay per pound than the place I have been sending stuff to. I'll try them out sometime soon. Thanks everyone for the good reviews that swayed my mind!

I forgot to ask this, what defines your grade of mid grade? I know the peripheral boards at my current yard get sold as their own grade, so if you may be able to provide a couple of pictures as to what you specifically consider mid-grade, that would be great. My current yard pays $0.20 per pound for mid grades.

Once again Terry is a great person to work with and one of the most honest buyers I have dealt with. I have sent him a load every few months for some time and he never disappoints.

Will you buy lcds with scratched or cracked screens? Or are the ones you buy only for refurbing?

I'll jump in here and say that LCDs are bought for the screen. Light scratches may be OK, but cracked ones are definitely not.

Was looking at the zip code you have material shipped to. Is that the company that just got shut down? Your prices look good and I have a Gaylord of stuff I need to sell. I just want to make sure I can get paid for my stuff. Let me know. Thanks.

Let me assure you I will pay for what you for what you send in. But to answer your question its the same company but a different division and they are not shut down. In fact I just got paid yesterday for shipments i sent in.
