So what was the eBay fiasco in January
In January I'd thought about opening up consignments again and logged in to find my account had been suspended. All my fees were paid and I was still in a good standing so I called them and they said that they suspended the account because a new clause was put into the TOS. I asked what it was and they hung up on me so I called back and asked for a supervisor who told me the account was really suspended because my consignment business conflicted with their consignment business. I'd waited till February first to see if anything had changed and nothing did so I've given up on Ebay. It made no sense for one person to tell me one thing then someone else tell me something else and cover up the real reason why the account was suspended.
I'm not out of the Escrap business, but not doing any business at the moment either.
Updated the thread to add some stuff i'm selling/trading, added a wishlist of items i'm looking for, and formatted what i'm buying so it's not so confusing.
Updated prices, happy summer everyone.
wow I wish you were just 20min away not states lol I could have truck loads of milk jugs cds and magazines for you everyday. cds are a big bang loop hole here with pallets containing 8-12000 of them for 10-$20 it has been a weird phenomenon here for about 5yrs how many cds end up in this town circulating not for resale after awhile they just toss out cases and use the sleeve style and fill with 50-100 and sell it that way online or other states and towns, a lot to go into to explain here but dang
Funnier thing, I've been receiving ALOT of emails about cds lately. o.O is this just a summer thing now or what. It's times like this I wish I could accept pallets/gaylords >.<
Updated thread again - added Comic Books to the buy the list, Xbox 360 parts to the sell list, and other items to the wish list. Also still selling the picks I've upcycled for those that play a stringed instrument.
Happy summer from the chill frost capitol of the world: CNY.

Mountain dew bottles for .10 a lb? In NY each one is worth a nickel?
Yes because not everyone's state recycles each like we do - that and the bottles will never see the light of day except being fed through my pick punch. They make surprisingly good guitar picks.
In other news, received an email from ebay yesterday in the middle of helping a relative move to tell me they made an error on my account and reinstated it in full to how it was before, so i'm back selling on ebay under the same handle as before(BlackRoseConsignments). I have a hell of a backlog so won't be doing commissions just yet. Also received a Nexlink (LGA1115) desktop from my father in law(he received some money and went computer happy with everyone in the house) so I've updated my wishlist with items for the desktop.
Happy belated Memorial Day everyone,
Matt
Updated post - Happy 4th everyone.
Updated list again with higher prices. Enjoy!
Updated list again... waiting to stock some funds so I can start to buy complete/incomplete laptops. When I do I believe everyone will like the prices. Somehow in the middle of everything my father-in-law decided to start buying laptops for me to tear apart so.. yeah. My E-Wasting activities have lead me towards laptops instead of desktops.
Happy summer everyone!
Ok folks post has been updated. Consignments are now open as I have lots of selling space, previous rules apply. Im shipping everything by FEDEX Super Saver now also.
Have stuff you want sold? pop me an IM.

Well it's getting towards that time of the year again when Ebay sales are sluggish so Ebay Consignments are closed for the season, however I've picked up a couple of contacts in the past few month and anyone on here that sells console games needing to offload ones that done sell, I'm willing to work with to get sold for 1/2 sale. Other then that not much has changed.
Happy Winter,
Matt
I agree, holiday season is the best time to sell online, at least for me anyway.
All You Need To Know About Pop Can Pull Tabs
So I followed that link Hobo posted last year.
The guy/owner tho, comes off as a **** in a couple of his "posts/blogs" whatever.
Interesting site, but I'll ship any pop tops to you(logan) or my own yard before I'll send them to him.
An the kids in his photo..only 1 looks happy. 2 look asleep, another looks as if she'd be more entertained watching paint dry an grass grow. Heh.
I also looked into that Guitar Pick thing also..pretty cool device, an explains why I keep coming across nifty looking pics in my travels. I have guitar pic collection. Heh.
Thanks for sharing about the pick maker. Good luck to ya!
Sirscrapalot - Do you think regular dogs, see police dogs, an think "Oh ****! It's the cops!" - Unknown
Message fail - would've logged in to reply sooner >.< Anyhow, yeah I always figured that guy's prices were a bit off since he doesn't compensate for the market but it's for this reason he still has over a million tabs(I ask him every now and then). Weitsman accepts them as clean aluminum. Regarding the pics, thank you.
Maybe if you're selling the next generation of console, laptop, or some other hot item - for the most part i've found ebay sales to be sluggish during the winter months and I'm not the only one who sees it. Then again, when it comes to selling online I do ebay only unless I have something that goes to a specialty retailer.
Happy 2017 everyone! Prices have been updated, added some items and removed a few more. Here's to hoping 2017 is better then 2016...
It's the summer and boy is it gettin warm up here in NY! Updated my thread so consignments are now year around and yes, i'm still here. Wishlist items have changed a bit but item prices and consignment fees have remained the same. I'm also working closely with an ACS chapter to try and get some stuff done so hopefully I can afford to buy more then just can tabs. So much fun!
Happy Summer, Matt
