The years of this cpus are 1990-2003
The price depend on the item actually but usually they go from 100$ to 450$ and more...

usually CPUs were made my IBM, Hitachi, Fujitsu, etc. but i guess CRAY used them if they made supercomputers.
The models i know ibm zSeries, S390, SE 390...IBM 9121... There are a lot more. but they look fairly the same. Big ceramic in metal... with huge heat sinks

I don't have the CPU's anymore, but here is what the board and RAM bank from an old IBM server looks like.

I believe part of the forum rules is to put up a buyers thread you are first required to become a paid member (Scrap Room Member).

By the way HiTechMike made a post a while back and you didn't comment. It would be nice of you to mention if the items he posted photos are something you might be interested in. 73, Mike

I think you should ask the admin for the banner "Scrap Room Member" added.

Take a look at my "SMF Bages of Honor" you will see "Scrap Room Member" which indicates I am a paid member. 73, Mike
