By aluminum pieces, do you mean the AL heatsinks, or the ports? Most of my mid grade green boards have lots of cable ports on them such as USB and Ethernet ports. Just wondering. Also, how do we get paid if we ship to you? I live in VA so that is my only option.

    Hey Stargate1,

We are looking for the heat-sinks to be removed only. PayPal is the most secure way of us to ensure payment for your shipments.

Photos of what you consider low grade green boards would be helpful. Heat sinks are normally allowed to stay on low grade boards.

This image is from boardsort.com however it perfectly fits the description of an acceptable board.

There are also boards which are green on one side and brown/yellow on the other. Those boards are perfectly acceptable as well.

Simple rule of thumb, if its a green board we accept it

Hope this was a better representation

Does it matter if boards are broken and if they are missing copper?

    Hey FirePower,

You can take as much off of the board as you want to, including copper. If you were to break them we should still be able to identify that what your are giving us is a green board, not bits and pieces. Pieces that are generally as big as the palm of your hand are fine.

Thanks for the information and the pictures. I normally throw out mid grade boards because Boardsort pays so little for them. I am working on getting a PayPal account set up within the next couple of months, so I will start stocking up mid grade boards.

Do you only take Low Grade boards? I have about 30 pounds of Mid-Grade and High Grade Server and Telecom Boards.

I just wanted to say I had a great experience with Josh. Communication was excellent and payment was exactly as discussed. If you have some brown board to unload, now's the time!

One question, does the boards have to b green, or just any board. A lot of boards are brown on both sides, or other colors, with no green at all. I ship all my mid grade -high and above to one buyer on the forum. Anything less than a couple dollars a pound, I sell to my local scrapyard at $0.10 a pound. I could start a Gaylord of low grade to ship out to thesr guys. Has anyone used them recently, or hear anything about this place
