I buy them both ways. I leave that entirely up to you. I've found that you can fit more boards in a box without the front button displays. Thanks

Just wondering if anyone has heard from Anthony in the past couple weeks. My package was delivered about a month ago. On April 17 he told me he had a few more boards to go through and he would have me a total. I have emailed him twice since then with no response. I noticed that he updated the prices on here since then

Hello everyone. I did talk to Anthony about a week ago. He told me that everything is a go for my next shipment. I had not been able to contact him either and didn't want to send anything without making sure everything was OK. He said he was working on getting caught up with everything. Apologized for being out of contact.

I sent three more boxes out yesterday afternoon. Hopefully all will go well.

Keep messaging him. His college classes should be winding up.

Hi everyone. Thank you for your patience on the delays. I just finished the semester and am just about caught up with the current orders. There will no longer be any delays in processing and payment for shipments. Just a heads up: as the weather continues to warm up cockroaches are going to start making an appearance in appliances (mainly microwaves). Due to the health risks associated with cockroaches and their droppings we do no accept any boards/parts with signs of cockroach damage.

That is an excellent question. I was waiting for a question like this to come up. I can handle a shipment of that size! When were you planning to deliver? Regarding your question on front load washer motors: I do not buy them. Unfortunately they kept getting damaged in transit to my buyers. As a result I ended up dropping those from my buying list completely.

This is sort of a bridge topic but since this seems to be the most current thread for these kinds of things, I will stick it here for Anthony and anyone else to reply.

Do you have to discharge the CFC in any of these appliances to get at the boards, controls, fans, etc.? Can these parts all be removed without puncturing or otherwise disturbing the sealed compressor system?

I'm trying to see how much stuff we can harvest from these things before we have to call in our EPA 608 technician.

I don't know about the compressor modules that would be a freonjoe question, but the main boards are a few feet up from the floor on the back. I have pulled a few compressor fans in which the lines had to be bent out of the way, but never cut.

Hey everyone. Just a quick update: I have currently been having severe difficulty finding outlets for the microwave parts I am buying, mainly the boards and magnetrons. As a result I am closing shop for 2 weeks starting this Saturday (6/9/18) to look at options and devise a solution. Shipments received before then will be totaled and paid out like a typical week. I will keep everyone updated on the situation. thanks

I have come up with a final decision:

    Microwave Boards:
Unfortunately I made the tough decision to drop all of these boards both untested and tested from the list for the time being. Panasonic Boards will stay on the list and may even increase in price. There is a very good chance that microwave boards will be back on the list in a few months.

    Microwave Mangetrons:

Good news! A majority of the magnetrons are going to stay on the list. The following magnetrons will no longer be accepted (please do not send any other magnetrons not included on the list):

    -Galanz
    -Witol
    -Hitachi
    -Toshiba
    -Misc. Magnetrons

6/30/2018: New Items have been added! We are in the process of adding more ewaste related items to the buying list. Prices on tested boards are going to increase slightly in the next few weeks. Prices on untested boards are also going to increase in the next few weeks.

We are currently testing the market for the following items:

-Washer Actuators (Typically a small assembly with a synchronous motor attached)
    -Refrigerator Crisper Bins and Drawers
    -Server Power Supplies

Hey everyone, for those who have sent in materials thank you. Just a heads up, I am planning to take the next 2 weeks off to get my entire inventory organized and build up my local ewaste venture. For shipments that come in during this time there may be a delay in getting them processed. If you have any questions please let me know and I will answer them as quickly as possible. Thanks a bunch!

We are back up and running! New ewaste items coming soon!! We are looking at adding a few microwave boards to the buying list again! I do have some bad news. Due to the challenges of testing LG, Samsung, and any boards that have a heavy epoxy coating (typically filled with a 1/8" layer around the boards) I will no longer be buying Samsung, LG, and the epoxy filled washer and dryer boards both tested and untested. I will still continue to buy the following Samsung and LG boards: dishwasher boards, washer dryer control panels, and washer dryer control panel boards. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Other than that our prices are looking to stay the same, and possibly increase even as steel prices continue to drop. Thanks a bunch!!

Make your life easier each board has a bar code tag affixed to it by using a smartphone barcode scanner app net connected the board your scanning will be automatically searched and identified.

If you had a printer paired to your device you could print out that information.

Some of the apps that I have installed on my smartphone,

OBD2 code reader to pull engine fault codes when the engine light is triggered.
Barcode reader, used to identify unknown parts which have a barcode attached to the part - locates part on Internet
Vinny, used to scan vehicle serial numbers to identify model and year
Bendix Brake Pad identifier, take a picture of any unknown brake pad this app will identify the pad
Gauss Meter, shows the power of a magnets field
Zoiper a softphone configured to my voip.ms account used to avoid long distance charges to my cellular account.

I am currently working on phasing out the labeling system. If all goes according to plan a board can be placed in the box without requiring any additional labeling. I am looking into removing the system altogether from untested boards and requiring only the picture number for tested boards. Also adding a few items and prices to the Computer and Laptop RAM list. I am also looking into adding few ceramic CPU's for more than scrap value (most likely priced per CPU) to the buying list.

New CPU's and RAM prices added!! The labeling system has also been changed. We no longer require labeling for our magnetrons and untested boards. We do require the picture number on all tested boards.

Quick update of what's to come: I will soon be adding flat screen TV's to the buying list! The prices will range between $5 and $25+ each depending on the model number. I will buy plasmas, LCD TV's, and LED TV's. They do not have to power up and can have a broken screen. I currently do not buy monitors. I am in the process of making a spreadsheet of prices for each brand and model number.
