After a few emails back and forth with Anthony, I sent a box containing 15 different boards, from different appliances, some tested, some not. The box left somerset KY on Jan 2nd 2018. It's expected to arrive at his location on monday the 8th. I'll post what happens from here as I get updated.
So...I just checked my email, and noticed that Anthony emailed me yesterday that my box came in on Friday. He stated that he had started processing the order, and would send check,( I have no PayPal), as soon as he has a total. Great communication. Always emails back no later than 24 hrs.
I actually lost my tracking information, so was glad to receive confirmation that it had arrived.
Last night at9:30 I received an email from Anthony saying he was putting a check in the mail this morning for $72.25. That's about $10-$12 more than expected. Can't wait till it gets here.
We just sent a box of boards out, two weeks ago, and the order is finished. Pay out was much better than expected, especially since so much of what I sent was not well labeled, untested, and not readily identifiable. I am refining my intake and labeling procedure, as well as getting more diligent about the other boards which 406 is buying. Thank you for offering this remarkable (and, for me, fiscally viable) platform!

Sorry I haven't updated my posts about me experience with Anthony. I been busy, and things have been crazy.
I received an email on Jan 11 that the check will go in the mail. After 11 days, I still haven't received the check. I emailed Anthony and asked if he had any tracking information for the check he sent. He replied back saying he didn't. We agreed to give it a couple more days, and if I don't receive it, he will mail another one. On Jan 23rd he emailed me and said he would have a check mailed out the next morning. Expected delivery date for the check is Monday January 29. I finally received the check.
I took the package to the fed ex office the last day of 2017, It didn't go out till Jan 2, 2815. I received the check on January 29. It was just a string of bad luck and misfortune.
So... Now that I have my $72.25 check in my hand, I email Anthony and let him know I received it. On Tuesday morning I go to bank to cash it, and they wouldn't; explained to me that he had not signed it!!!!.
So, once again I email Anthony and
this time have to tell him that he forgot to sign the check. After a couple emails back and forth, I find out what he wants me to do with the check he hadn't signed, and he said he would put another one in the mail immediately.
I cannot believe all the issues with this transaction. USPS must have lost the first check. Then he forgets to sign the second one, lol.
After all these issues, and about 25 emails back and forth dealing with various issues, Anthony has always been nice, polite, and professional. The preferred payment method for him is PayPal. If I had a PayPal account, then there wouldn't have been any issues.
I will let y'all know when I get the third check, and actually have the money in my hand. I do not think any less of Anthony because of this, and will send him another shipment as soon as I have one together. All these issues, and he still is polite, and I feel he is a great person.
Thank you Anthony for allowing me to send you control board's. I speak for many members of this forum when I say that you have increased the amount of green stuff from a bunch of junk,(litterly). I am hoping that you can add other items along, and that you continue to be a buyer on this forum for many years to come.
Just to sum up everything....
I believe that Anthony is a reputable buyer, and I would recommend him to anyone that has control board's to sell.
And the fact that he has many different items he buys, and pays great prices for all items, both tested and untested, and is always adding different items, giving instructions on how to test each item, plus has great communication practices, is what makes Anthony a great buyer, and person.
GREAT COMPANY, GREAT MONEY MAKING OPPORTUNITIES.
Hey everyone, for those who have sent in boxes of boards thank you! Just updating everyone on the situation about sending checks. Due to the workload I am under with college, my part-time job, this and my other operations there may be delays on sending checks. If anyone is still planning to send in a shipment, I can pay with PayPal directly after I count your load. Thanks again!!
Is there any premium for new in box items?
Oven Range Controls: $3.50/lb. are you talking infinite switches?
As a follow up to the new in box parts question. Can we consider them as working?
On the microwave transformers, any idea on how many fit in a USPS large flat rate box? For me this may be the only way to do these. Fed ex would cost more than I'd get for the transformers, even with a business account. Haven't looked into LTL as that would be quite a few transformers and I don't know if you have a method of receiving pallets.
Do you have an average weight per transformer that you could share?
At this point I do not have access to a fork lift. If you have access to several pallets of microwave transformers I am willing to work out a better price. Regarding your question on how many fit in a large FR box: the max weight is 70 pounds. The larger transformers weigh 10-12 pounds, the smaller ones 5-8 pounds. The ideal amount to fit in one box would be 9 of the little ones (payout of $45). On the larger transformers you could fit 6 or 7 in a box (payout of $30-35). Just a heads up, if you have any Samsung brand transformers/microwave control boards I am looking into a higher price on those. I should have an updated price posted by Wednesday.
No need for a forklift you can always get the shipment delivered with a liftgate equipped trailer. Or if you are close to a terminal and have a pickup can usually pickup from terminal.
Your list, including the items coming soon is getting very interesting. Hopefully I can get caught up on computer stuff and get a load together for you sometime this year.
Hey everyone! I just want to say thank you for your interest in sending in shipments of parts. To those who have sent in shipments thank you for your business. Just a quick update on the entire situation: We recently have been having a hard time finding outlets for a few of the miscellaneous items such as printer control boards, medical control boards, and the smaller misc. control boards. As a result, we are no longer buying those boards. The following items are going to be added in the next 1-2 weeks: TV main boards, TV power boards, TV misc. boards, Large washer water valves (10"-14"), Washer dryer mini control board modules (2"x2", typically found in washers and dryers with timers). As the weather warms up free scrap appliances are going to start showing up in large quantities. This is a golden opportunity to get more money for your scrap!
Hello everyone. I'm running a little late with my reviews and must apologize to Anthony for that. Since I found this outlet for materials, I have sent three shipments. The first two went well and he has the third shipment right now. I am working on the forth at this time. Anthony has answered many questions for me and has been a gem to work with. We have had a few slower moments in the process, but anyone in business must understand that folks sometimes get a little behind. I have had a great experience and plan to continue working with him as long as I am able.!!
