I can do freight shipments! Unfortunately, I don't have a freight dock, but can definitely pick up from one of the several freight depots in town. If anyone is planning to ship a gaylord of appliance parts I need to know at least a week ahead of time to make proper arrangements. If someone ambitious is planning to ship up a semi load of TV's I would need to know a few weeks in advance.

I also wanted to make sure that there was no misunderstanding on the TV's I will only pay for TV's that have boards still in them. TV's that have had the boards removed will not be paid for. If you're looking for a place to just recycle the flat screens with boards removed I will gladly accept them.

Hey everyone. Hope your scrap ventures are staying productive. Last week I applied and received business name Green Technology Solutions. As a result, the cashforboards site will be down for the next few days up to a week for some additions and changes. It will look different, but should be easier to navigate between the different areas.

New items added and new items coming soon! Microwave boards and certain magnetrons are back on the list. Microwave boards pulled from brands such as galanz, sunbeam, westbend, rival, basically all walmart brands will not be accepted. Because the microwave boards were just added again I am putting a maximum of 15 microwave boards per shipment on them for the time being. RAMBUS has been added to the buying list! The price is still broad since I have only gotten 10 sticks of it so far. I am also very seriously looking into adding i series laptop and desktop processors to the list.

I just shipped my first package to 406Refining. Great prices, fast turn around and fast responses to questions though PM or email. Already working on filling up my next box to send in. 406Refining has an A+ rating in my book.

I have been getting several questions with regards to what a "Walmart brand" board is defined as. The best answer I can give are brands such as: Galanz, Rival, Sunbeam, Hamilton Beach, etc. I will continue to buy the following brands: Panasonic, Whirlpool, Samsung, GE, Kitchen aid, Westinghouse, Sharp, Frigidaire, etc. Below are pictures of the typical "Walmart brand" microwave boards. Typically the Walmart boards are a cream color or a dull oily brown color. They only come out of tabletop microwaves. If the microwave has a galanz magnetron in it there will be a Walmart board as well.

How much do you pay for ceramic IC's that you deem to be to damaged(severely bent pins)? Also, does it matter whether or not they are EEPROM's (have windows or not)?

Concerning Synchronous motors, those are motors with a copper wound armature, correct? Does size matter?

An answer would be much more appreciated than your thanks and it wouldn't take any longer. It would also have the added benefit of keeping forum users from wondering if you're serious about this business.

At this point I am only buying synchronous motors pulled from microwaves. Above is a picture of the typical motor. They are the motors that run the turntable.

That being the case, I feel like I better ask about the "switches and sensors" listed directly above the synchronous motors. Are they strictly microwave related too?

The switches and sensors can be found in almost every appliance ranging from microwaves and dishwashers to ovens and sometimes furnaces. I have found that dishwashers and microwaves have the largest number of switches and sensors in each unit.

-Flat screen TV's are officially up on the buying list! We accept all plasma, LCD(fluorescent tubes), and LED TV's. Prices are determined upon testing of the internal boards. TV's missing internal boards will not be accepted. TV's that have broken screens/do not power up are fully acceptable. Prices range from $5.00-$25.00+ per TV depending on size, brand, and internal boards.

Hey everyone, I hope your scrap ventures are still producing well. Thank you to everyone who have sent in material or are planning to send in materials. I just about have the CPU sheet finished. I will be getting those prices as well as my official laptop and desktop prices added by the end of the week. Just a quick heads up: a few of the magnetron prices will be dropping $0.50-$2.00 at the end of next week.
