I went through the previous post pretty quickly. However, the only error I saw is the quoted statement I've attached to this post.
In fact, Paypal's threshold for turning your info over to the IRS and issuing you a 1099 is if you have 200 transactions AND at least $20,000 in payments.
    Other than that, good info.

Update: Things are finally starting to look up. I am about to start selling for a local appliance store on commission as well as getting my new selling account set up. I am going to be taking the month of February off from buying to get everything set up and build funds up again. If anyone has any questions feel free to send me an email or a pm. Thanks

    Price lists

I see that some brands are not listed in the 1st table such as Kenmore, etc. Are you only buying the brands and items listed in the 1st table? One example is a Kenmore main oven control. Since it is not listed in the 1st table, will it still be bought under the pricing from tables 2 and 3? Thanks for the clarification!

Kenmore is also included on the first table. I am not quite ready to do kenmore/whirlpool oven boards yet and so they won't be purchased on table 2 and 3. I will be moving to add them as soon as possible. Thanks

Anthony per our last conversation, I've put together a couple hefty boxes of boards and ready to ship. Had a question about whether you were interested in some additional components (power transformers, capacitors, etc) that I have, but I'm just not having any luck communicating with you. Tried email, PM, text with photos, and email..... nothin' but crickets though?!

    Update on things:

If you have a random board that you want to send in, but are unsure if I will buy it feel free to text a picture of it to (406) 697-5877. I will let you know if I take it and what the price would be within a few days.

I am still buying stuff, but at a much smaller scale. I am at the point that I need anyone who is ready to ship a box in to let me know before it even ships. I have also been getting a few questions on various topics on this buying ad. Below is a list of those questions with answers:

    1. Are you planning to continue buying?
      1. For the time being, yes. I will definitely be buying, but on a smaller scale until sales on my end increase.

    2. What is your plan for the new inventory sheet and testing program?
      1. My plan is to phase out the need for anyone to test boards that are sent in. This includes completely removing the tested boards category. I will still keep the untested boards category up for the time being.

    3. Will you be adding any new boards to the new testing program?
      1. I fully intend to add more boards to the new testing program, but I don’t have a set timeline as to when more will be added.

    4. Are timers ever going to come back?
      1. Due to the sheer volume of dryer timers that I currently have (well over 500) it will take awhile before I am ready to buy them again. I am currently looking into buying all quantities of certain models of timers, but it will be a few months before I have that list ready to go. I can say with 100% certainty that all types of washer, dishwasher, and microwave timers will not be bought in the near future.

    5. I have several misc. Boards that I want to send in. Is there a place I can send pictures of them to get a price on?
      1. Feel free to send me an email or text me the pictures of them and I can get you a price on them.

Scrap ewaste items are back up on the list! I'm hoping to get CPU prices also listed in the next few weeks. Resale ewaste items are still not on the list for the time being.

So, is it bad to get these boards wet? I'm guessing yes.
I've been keeping my scrap outside in the weather and I'm wondering if it's even worth sending them in.

I can't speak for the buyer but they should be fine unless they are powered on when wet.

Years ago I used to work in manufacturing and assemble circuit boards, we would clean the solder joints with alcohol and water.

Most appliances are quite durable in weather. I've taken apart whole appliances that have sat outside in all weather conditions for well over a year. The boards were in great shape when removed and tested perfectly. If the boards themselves have been stored outside there is definitely a higher chance of fail testing, but if they're still in the appliances the boards should be fine. If a board fails testing I will pay at a minimum $1-$3 per unit. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks

I am looking to start buying some quantities of laptops. I need around 50 or so for this first round. The price on each complete unit (HDD can be missing) is $1.50/lb. I will also buy incomplete units (need to have the motherboard and an intact screen) at $1.15/lb. These prices do not include chromebooks at this time. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

I have officially reached the maximum number of appliance parts I can handle. As a result, I will not be buying any more appliance parts for the remainder of the month. I will still be buying ewaste related items.

I have reached the quantity of rambus I was looking to get. Thank you everyone who sent shipments in so quickly! I will be re-evaluating my rambus prices and adjusting them accordingly in the next day or so.

For the time being all appliance parts are off of the buying list. We are working very hard to get those back up on the list, but it may take up to 6 months. If you currently have a box of parts I would suggest you set it in a corner and wait it out.

For everyone who has been waiting on their checks thank you for being patience. The last round of them went out this morning.

Ewaste prices have also been updated with several new items added. We are also ready to start buying rambus again.
