Feel free to send them mixed. I can sort them out when the box arrives. If you do not mix the regulators into the chips the bottom price would be $5.00/lb. feel free to send me some pictures of the chips and I’ll get a more accurate price. Thanks

Prices have increased! Ceramic IC Chips have also been added as a separate item. If you are planning to send in a shipment of IC chips feel free to send them in mixed. We'll sort them for you!

Sorry about that. I got really really behind with work and school this past month. If it does not come in by the end of the week please let me know and I'll get another one issued.

A few prices have been updated:

-Ceramic IC Chips: dropped to $6.25/lb
    -Silver Ram: dropped to $7.50/lb

*I am currently evaluating buying scrap coin cell batteries from motherboards and laptops. If anyone has some of them please feel free to pm me or send me an email. I am figuring out prices, but would like some input from everyone before I add them to the list. Thanks

Update on appliance parts: Thank you for your patience on the appliance parts. It's been a slow process, but I am seeing the beginning ripples of sales. We are heading into the slow season for parts so I won't be adding parts to the buying list until March at the absolute earliest.

Good news! Appliance parts are back up on the buying list. We are initially buying a select list of parts from mainly microwaves and soon to be dishwashers. The listed items have no limits initially. This includes glass platters. As soon as my stock of platters is built back up I may put quantity limits on them.

I am working very hard to get magnetrons and other parts back on the buying list, but the whole Covid thing has really slowed down the process. Below are additional parts I am working hard to put on the list as soon as possible:

    -microwave magnetrons
    -microwave turntable motors
    -microwave door switch assemblies
    -appliance relays and sensors
    -dishwasher pumps/motors
    -dishwasher soap dispensers
    -dishwasher rack wheels/other pieces
    -certain dishwasher control boards
    -certain oven control boards

I am officially done buying appliance parts. For those who sent appliance parts in over the years thank you for your business! With your help I was able to get a ton of microwaves repaired and several other appliances sent back into the consumer market.

Why am I done buying? Three things:

    1. I am completely stocked up on all the repair related parts that I will need for a long time.
    2. I have maxed out the storage space that I want to use for microwave repairs.
    3. I decided to go back to school in January of this year so I now have significantly less time on my hands than previously. School and my local ewaste stuff taking off have put me in a tough situation for time management. I had to take a hard look at what I was doing and cut a bunch of things out of the equation.

What does the future hold for buying?

I will leave my SMF ad up until the end of June then I’ll take it down. I am planning to make a new buying ad sometime soon to add some interesting items that don't have many buyers out there at the moment. Below are just a few that I’m looking into:

    1. Flat screen TV’s

    2. Monitors 22”+

    3. Monitor stands
    4. A few other areas that aren’t currently being done on SMF

If you have any questions for me please do not hesitate to email me (controlboardsales@gmail.com) or send me a PM.
