Buying functional RAM, CPUs, Graphics Cards, Laptops, and Desktops www.ibuy.parts

The website pricing is updated as of May 2nd, 2022.

RAM has steadied out for the past 3 months from it's meteoric highs and abysmal lows- it even stayed fairly steady during the Omicron surge. I think we will now be fighting the inevitable depreciation that comes from DDR3 aging out. DDR4 server has also corrected to a more sustainable level after those few MAJOR data centers refreshed and FLOODED the market with 16 and 32 GB DDR4.

CPUs- the first generation E3-XXXX and E5-XXXX have finally started to get relegated to their rightful place in the hands of the gold refining community. V2 models will quickly follow suit. (They are only worth a few dollars right now and gold spot continues to hover about $1800 at time of writing). We have even seen a drastic price correction in the V4 and V5 versions. As Dell and HP continue adopting E7-XXXX or the i7 and i9-XXXX (K) versions the older E3 and E5 models will continue to percolate through the legacy equipment holders. This trend followed suit in the consumer CPUs with the 4th generation i-series all correcting downward. As 6th generation (i3, i5) is now the common CPU being retired from office environments- I expect that we will see a fairly rapid downward trend in i5-6500 as the big companies start refreshing their offices now that people are returning to work.

Feel free to private message me here or visit the site to get my email address. Obviously not every single thing is listed, but it gives you a good indication as to where I land on pricing. Or if you don't have the time, energy, or knowledge to sort things yourself- I am willing to discuss sort/settle arrangements as well.

DDR3/DDR4 RAM. Pricing provided is based on functional modules but I can also offer over scrap prices for non-functioning modules in decent condition as well. (I.E. it needs to have all the chips on, not trimmed, and not SEVERELY scratched)

If you have quantity of DDR3/DDR4 RAM that you tested and it is not working, please contact me. I can offer more than $24/lb as long as it is all DDR3/DDR4. I just posted a separate thread specifically for our Failed RAM program.

    I Buy Parts

Also looking to buy CPUs. I am only looking to buy CPUs that can be tested and used for refurbishable units. I offer very reasonable pricing for functioning processors but please do not inquire about my 486, Pentium Pro, AMD Aluminum Top, PIII, or DPL prices unless you have a LARGE (50lbs or more) quantity.

    I Buy Parts

Check out the site for pricing on graphics cards as well as bulk purchases of laptops and desktops. If you have other inquires please email me @ sales@ibuy.parts or respond in this thread.

Ive got a whole box of GPUs that I have been hanging on too.... they are took good to scrap but not good enough for resale individually, mostly from business computers.

Any minimums on lot sizes of GPUs? I Probably have 30-50 of them

Odd, Mr. Wolf. This isn't karma coming around a few years later, is it? :shrugs:

I don't recall any offer ever made. My shop is where it's always been and my phone number is the same as it always has been, if you know me as you've said before, then you already know how to get a hold of me I'm certainly not stopping you.

At any rate the reason is we aren't trying to purport one as another, and those who use our list in some or total capacity asked in advance to do so. I don't take issue with use I take issue when its implied that its ok to screenshot and repost as originals. OP fixed it, I'm happy with that. It's actually a google sites violation so they would have correlated the source on their own anyways. The algo google uses drops a pretty heavy hammer on that stuff.

I can confirm that an offer for lunch by Mr. Greatest was made many moons ago but I don't have time to dig up the thread

I see it, and like has already been said, I know for a fact he knows my number and where my shop is, he wants to have lunch we have some good food in town. For respect purposes I am going to edit my original post so as not to reflect negatively when the OP took proper action and will not further clog their thread. Im rather impressed with the response and ultimately the kindness expressed in IMs.

I am looking to buy i-series motherboards for more than scrap value. They do not have to be tested functional. I will buy the older boards with the H55 chipset for $2.50, and the newer boards with the H61, H81, and H110 chipsets for $4.50. Or, if you have boards with the X99 chipset (these boards normally take DDR4 RAM), I will buy them for $6.50.

I am also still interested in purchasing bulk quantities of RAM, CPUs, Desktops, and Laptops. Please visit I Buy Parts for pricing, or feel free to contact me directly.

I'm a bit confused on pricing.........At current pricing for motherboards this is basically scrap price and your hard drive pricing is confusing as well..........07 cents per 100 gb?..........so a 500gb is .35 cents each........Please clarify

You've caught my attention a little bit hear. How do we tell which chip set it is? What is considered damaged by visual inspection? Should metal sockets, heat sinks and batteries be left on or removed?

    Good Morning Mike,

The HDD pricing is $.70 per 100gb not $.07.

And if you are getting $4.50/lb for P4 motherboards, please let me know who you are selling to and I would love to sell them my motherboard scrap!

For my last 2 lots of unsorted i-series motherboards my breakdown was VERY close to 5% H55 and the rest were H61, 81, and 110. The first lot was 5,097 motherboards and the second lot was 1,079 units. They were both so close to 5% that I use that as my benchmark for unsorted gaylords/pallets worth of i-series boards.

I can send you a picture of the cardboard visual aid that we use to teach these chipsets. If you want to shoot me an email at sales@ibuy.parts then I can send it over. I gave the picture to another forum member and he/she/they were very grateful. The pricing is not dependent on the removal of base metals (metal socket, heatsink) nor will I downgrade if the battery is still on the board. I understand that most will want to at least keep the main CPU heatsink for the Al, Cu, or AlCu value which is also totally fine with me. However, the smaller heatsink solely for the chipset is usually good to leave on because it protects the chipset during transit.

I also do RAM chip recovery and I tell scrappers ALL the time that leaving the heatshield on actually protects the chips and insures a safer delivery.

Fair enough.....Sorry for misunderstanding but the boards you are looking for are not P4 they are newer boards correct?.........To me P4 boards means Pentium 4........Sorry I think we are trying to discuss the same things the pricing is just a little confusing the way it is listed........Alot of people buy the parts by the each and the scrap by the lb........You are buying even the reusable stuff by the pound I assume......It's all good thanks for any clarification

    Hey Mike,

I'm using P4 interchangeably with "small or metal socket green board" as pictured on boardsort.com. "Mixed P4" is the category that we use when we sort them- either way, same price for scrap regardless. I am not buying by the pound. I am buying by the individual motherboard containing those chipsets.

Assuming the average motherboard weighs very close to 1lb, I could see the confusion when discussing scrap vs the price I am offering. I am most interested in buying things for more than scrap value, which is why I am buying a motherboard that contains a H55 chipset for $2.50, but the other three for $4.50. And if the same board has an X99 chipset, $6.50. So even though the weight has remained at that same 1lb constant, the price is changing based on the chipset. I hope that clarifies any confusion!

    Thanks for asking
    Danny

Quite the contrary. I thought I was going to get reprimanded for rounding the weight of the motherboards to 1lb
