I did another drop off yesterday with CLR. Once again everything went nice and smooth. Like clock work, I brought in my sorted stuff, weighed, and was paid.

    Question:

    1. When you say server board, you're talking about the motherboards?
    2. Hard drives, is that pricing with the boards removed?
    3. Power supplies, do you care if the cables are snipped off?
    4. Gold connector ends, can you provide an example?

    Thanks!

    1. Yes, the motherboards out of servers with multiple processors.
    2. The price range for the hard drives is the lower is for without boards and the higher for with boards.
    3. Power supplies can have the wire cut off. We can pay more if the wire is still on them.
    4. Gold connectors are what you would cut off of certain cables. For example vga/dvi monitor cables, parallel port printer cables, scsi/ide ribbon cables, cat 5 jacks, etc. If you are not sure send me a photo.

I think we've posted them quite a few times but this one came from a web site.
Maybe we can make up a joint post or directory with quite a few different pic's. We know we've posted quite a few different ones in the past.
Would that be something that everyone could use as a reference?

I took a bunch of LCD monitors and hard drives to CLR today. The transaction was quick, easy, and I was paid by check on the spot. He even took some time out of his busy day to talk about ewaste with me. I highly recommend doing business with Chris at CLR!

do the ni/cad, ni/hyd, and li-ion batteries have to come out of computers and cell phones? Cause I have some about the size of bricks.

do you accept regular batteries? like energizer or duracell batteries? figured id ask

also, I have a few boards that have many gold-tipped prongs sticking out (like a telecom junction board) and 2 boards with gold plating on the side and all over it. would those be priced the same as high-grade green boards?

I live in central jersey and would like to do business with you soon. Thank you.

The nicad /NiMH batteries can be from all sorts of devices.

Yes we accept regular alkaline batteries.

Those sound like a type of backplane pin board and high grade server. Please pm me or email me recycle@clrsolutionsnj.com with some pictures.
