Hello all just an update - My package was just received by ewasted and I'm super excited to see the results!!
I had an excellent experience with Ewasted yesterday as well. I would trust this gentleman in the future if shipping escrap(took mine in person). Informative, friendly and knows his scrap.. Quite the business man!!
Here is my review for my experience in dealing with Ewasted for the Sierra Storm Synchronized Ice Skating Team Fundraiser. Through my endless remedial questions Ewasted's company has made my 1st selling experience simple and painless. The difference in the amount that was earned by selling to Cash For Computer Scrap instead of the original company that we started working with is insane. We would have had to collect around 3,268lbs of material in order to get the $163.39 that we got from the approximately 55lbs that was sent to Ewasted and that isn't even taking the shipping costs into consideration. Official rating - A++ and 12 out of 10! The team and I thank you so very much for helping us maximize the money gained from the end of season fundraiser. If I get the opportunity, I will absolutely do more business with Cash For Computer Scrap!
After reading alot of info on this website and studying buyers on here I sent my first shipment off to Ewasted. 27 lb box of an assortment of stuff. Sent it Thursday, they received it yesterday and cut me a check for $103.97 today. There weight matched mine almost exactly. Actually got $13 more than I had calculated. Felt well taken care of and dealt with honestly. I look forwared to doing more business with them as I learn how to get contacts and clients and get more boards. Thank you Mario and staff.
Thanks for the kind words. I will pass the word on to the team, they are the ones responsible for the smooth service. I only field the majority of the questions since I know the material better than anyone else here.
lol thanks for the heart droz haha
We transitioned EVERYTHING from our old bank, a much needed move.
This move was strategic and will offer more value to our customers.
We will have an announcement to make here in the next few days alot of customers will be happy about. :)
I appreciate his consistent, professional approach to the forum. Putting together my first ever, shipment this week.
Yes I want to send in some stuff as well. I don't have enough yet to make shipping worth it! (I think) And I only have 4 oz of mixed CPU's! So It will take some time to get 1/4 of each type! LOL
Hobo, send it as is if you have other material... the problem is when people mail a box that weighs 2 lbs GROSS... and want to be paid top dollar on each cpus. If you have other material its ok...
Looking to sell you a gaylord (maybe a little more) of mixed circuit boards, a gaylord (maybe a little more) of power supplies, a few other items less than gaylord including scrap laptops, dual socket server boards and such.
My questions are
1) do i need an appointment
2) how do i contact you
3) what are prices for non motherboard circuit boards (printer, dvd rom, misc)
4) is sort and payout done on the spot
feel free to pm me to schedule an appointment for mid to late next week or call me 989 307-8392
Thanks, Charles
How much you pay for ic chips ,and mid grade boards.
Pricing updated....
IC Chips $5.00 /lb
mid grade is a range, as low as $.45/lb and goes up
Ewasted,
When you update prices can you make a spot below them of what your prices previously were? Would be nice to have a quick glance and see if your prices went up or down.
Edit:
Also for pentium pro's does that include the pentium chips that are not huge but still gold capped and not labled "pro"
They still say "Pentium" on them
They look like this
http://www.cpu-collection.de/?l0=co&...0502-75Goldcap
and these
http://www.cpu-collection.de/?tn=0&l...&l2=Pentium+P5
I have tons like that but also some that are larger than that but not the full size of "pentium pro" ones.
Check arrived yesterday so first transaction with Ewasted complete. Very happy with the report of things sent in so I could compare it with my notes and satisfied with the final payout. 10 out of 10...pleasure doing business.
Where are you located?
Here's his basic shipping info.
Mentor, OH 44060
Pricing update, thanks!
I just completed my first selling of escrap. From all the comments and post on the boards I was trying to choose between easy and ewasted. I went with ewasted due to lower shipping cost for me. This was me paying the shipping and not them. I can say ewasted answered all of my PMs and emails quickly and with no sarcasm in the replies. I know some of my questions were very noobish. I sent in a 31lbs box, with a mix load of mother boards, RAM, finger boards, and cell phones. The received my package, processed it, and cut a check on the 25th. The money came in the mail yesterday. So made $147.26 minus the 19.98 it cost me to ship is still $127. This shipment didn't inclue the CPUs, CD roms, or power supplies. Trying to figure out best way to sell that stuff since none of the local yards will buy it.
Thanks eWasted - I'll be hitting you up again to price some pay phone boards I have.
Glad we could be of service!
CPUs will be bought by the buyers here. Power supplies you need to educate your local scrap buyers on. CD Roms has a buyer here as well for the right ones, otherwise remove the boards and add to yout motherboard stash, and throw the carcass in to your shred pile for the steel yard.
Have to say EXCELLENT SERVICE A+++++++ Hope the smooth transactions continue!!!!!
Ewasted: Are optical drive boards classified as mixed motherboard grade?
Yes boards from cd/dvd are mixed mobo grade. But check with Ewasted to be sure. He mentioned something about tweaking the price on them./
Tried to send a p.m. but inbox is full.....Do you also purchase fans, ribbon cable w/ends,heat sinks and li-ion batts from laptops. getting some stuff together and to be honest with you doing a bit of comparison shopping. Thanks.
I can vouch he buys lion batteries at 1.05 a lb. Been sending a few here and there in last few weeks.
i got a question i do not think has been asked yet, on motherboards a dual socket server motherboard is worth more than a standard motherboard of the same style, but what about the "transition" boards from the Pentium 3 era that had a slot CPU socket as well as a standard PGA370 socket, would that qualify as a dual socket motherboard as well?
Check arrived today another top notch transaction..........THANKS!!!
Sent my first box to Ewasted today, will post results.
Prices updated!!!
As I stated in a post above I shipped a box to ewasted 3:00pm wensday recieved an e-mail today. They rcieved the box, prosseced it and cut a check and put it in the mail. Greate turn around (48) hrs. A big shout out and thank you to all who work for ewasted. I will be doing bussness with ewasted in the future.
Ewasted do you ever come to Houston or have any guys here in Houston that I can sell my escrap to? If not i will ship it, need to clean out my garage
Not sure about sorting the lowgrade, midgrade boards though. Will you beable to do all of that?
Question about selling finger boards (pc cards and such) to you ewasted. Other buyers say it's ok to leave the metal brackets attached and still get the price per lb. Do you have the same policy? How about things like heat sinks/on-board fans on things like video cards - ok to keep on? Also, if it is ok to keep these things on, would you give a better price per lb for taking all of the metal off and having clean finger boards?
EDIT: Added this:
Also, what do you consider CD-ROM boards? Mixed motherboards?
sent in a box of hd boards and a few mixed boards on thursday will see what happens looking forward to a great buyer thank you
Wish I lived nearby. Would make things easier!
I shipped 60 lbs of HD boards, gold fingers, and memory last Friday. I used the FedEx return label from Ewasted's site (which came in at around $33 vs $48 if I sent through FedEx). The package arrived on Tuesday, processed it by Wednesday, check was cut Thursday afternoon. I sent Ewasted a pm about an issue of quoted vs paid price on the gold fingers (difference was $3). He called me Friday morning and said the paper check was going out at 9am, but asked if I wanted to do an ACH direct deposit to my account and he would add the $3 to it. I should have said yes not for the $3 but because the check is going to a PO box about 100 miles away near my fiancee and I won't get it until next Friday.
Anyway, so far the process has been a great experience. Always best when I have the $$$ in hand. I will definitely use Ewasted for most of my escrap.
Ewasted, after a lot of reserch iam putting my first box of e scrap together. It will be a mixedbox. Dont know how to grade and sort that well can your team do it for me. would send a pic cant do that either lol. Looking forward to this first box goging out.
