I've thought of the running tally, and I could just write on the side of it the new additions. That might be the best solution. I've got a 60 lb scale (and a bathroom scale) which would be adequate.
As far as loading it, I would pay the freight company to load it. Sure there will be a fee, but for a whole gaylord, it can't be that much per lb. Asking a local scrap yard means I have to put it on my truck and then off again. Not worth it. And then my local guy wouldn't appreciate that I wasn't selling it to him. :( He gives me better prices than ewasted on large socket green boards, so I don't want to mess with that relationship.
