Not sure why this was posted. We hired a new gal and made an error on the transaction. She is still getting accustomed to the terminology and our system. I sent you an email within a few minutes of receiving yours. I am not in the office so I was unable to address this at the present, will take care of it tomorrow.

This is not a sorting issue what so ever, strictly data entry.

    My long overdo review...

Simply put A++ service and prices!

I have been dealing with them for over a year now. I ship roughly 60 pounds of material to him each week via FedEx Ground. From my house, it costs under just under $30 for a 69 pound box.

When I started selling boards I figured that I would try each buyer on the forum. But because of CFCS's great prices and service, I have not sold to anybody else yet.

He keeps on adding more items which is great. He takes a lot more than what his price list shows!

I have only had a few minor problems (all of which were resolved quickly). But that is to be expected since I ship out every week. Two of the problems was that I ended up with more money then what I should have. I hated reporting those problems but I did.

My next "adventure" with them will be trying to figure out shipping a gaylord or two full of material. Not sure on prices yet because not sure how much weight I can get in one.

    OVERALL: A++ and HIGHLY recommended

I just sent a $1000 of motherboards and cd drive boards to Ewasted. Haven't got the check yet, but it has been a very smooth process and cheap, cheap shipping having him do it for you. I saved about 40% on shipping cost of what it would have cost me to ship.

So this brings up my next question I need help with. I'm thinking of just getting a pallet and big gaylord box and waiting to ship things in once it is full. But - - - how do I weigh the gaylord once it is full???? I just do this out of my garage, not like I have a big scale on hand. I have checked and there is no place to rent a pallet scale around here. I imagine I would need to weigh the gaylord before I ship it, right? Any help?

    Thanks,

You can buy a small scale for under $50 that goes up to 330 Lbs or so. Just weigh smaller amounts and keep track. Then add around 75 lbs for pallet and gaylord. Also do you have a plan on geting the gaylord loaded into the truck?

A couple options I can think of:

    1. Ask a local scrap yard to borrow the use of their scale for a minute.
    2. Keep a running tally of the weight of things you put into the gaylord.

I've thought of the running tally, and I could just write on the side of it the new additions. That might be the best solution. I've got a 60 lb scale (and a bathroom scale) which would be adequate.

As far as loading it, I would pay the freight company to load it. Sure there will be a fee, but for a whole gaylord, it can't be that much per lb. Asking a local scrap yard means I have to put it on my truck and then off again. Not worth it. And then my local guy wouldn't appreciate that I wasn't selling it to him. He gives me better prices than ewasted on large socket green boards, so I don't want to mess with that relationship.

I haven't done much freight shipping, but unless you have a loading dock or a forklift, I've been charged around $100 extra for them to use a truck with a lift gate.

If you have a loaded gaylord on the truck, get a net weight on the empty truck first. Go back and weigh the loaded gaylord. You can use the local yard's scale or the local grain elevator's scale. (their certified also) We have a small trucking company that will take off a pallet from your truck for the price of a cup of coffee. (no, not Starbucks)
