Just wanted to put in another good word for Mario and the crew at Cash for Computer Scrap. Dropped off a pickup truck load this morning (my first). Was very happy with the prompt and professional service. Very detailed in grading out what you have and showing you your weights and payout pricing. Great customer service and it was very nice to feel like my business was appreciated. These guys are doing it the right way and for myself, they will continue to get my business without question. Great experience all the way around.

    Thanks again Mario.

wow thats cheap thats less than .10 lb ,but our first load like yours i drove it also was very informative

Yeah I really wanted to drive mine down but couldn't find the time, ironically a day after I sent it out an opportunity to do so opened up. I should mention that $233 is with me loading it, it would be $333 if we had required a liftgate, still that is good I think. At least I don't have to worry about variables like getting a flat tire, a car accident, weather, etc... I really wanted to drive my first load down for the very reason you stated though, but I decided that since Ewasted has quite the impressive reputation and I would save some money freighting it that I would pass.

i forgot to check sorry have been dealing with audit related items. I shouldve delegated this.
Anyway, the battery and aluminum heatsinks need to be removed. Also if there is excess metal on the rear of the board, behind where the cpu resides.
    The connectors etc can stay.

I find for me that boxes less then 70 pounds(difference from 69 to 71 pounds was $10) give me the best bang for my buck shipping wise. Last time I compared Fed Ex was cheaper then UPS.

Recent transaction I had with Mario went thru without a hitch. Thanks CFCS.

I might have to start out small then all my hard drive, optical and floppy drive boards, ram, miscellaneous plugs, fingers, will have to go that might not even make it to 50lbs who knows I need to weigh it all. I do have like 70+ lbs. of motherboards.

These guys are definitely a great company to work with. I sent a pallet weighing 675 lbs to them last week, which they made incredibly easy to do. I've never shipped anything bigger that a small flat-rate box to anywhere before this and had no clue how to go about shipping a whole pallet, but the customer service rep was able to walk me through the whole process.
The shipping rate they got me was great also. It ended up costing me a little over $200 to ship it, or about $.30/lb.
Then the payout ended up being several hundred dollars more than what I expected. I was thinking it wouldn't be more than $2,500, but it ended up being over $3,300. They were great to work with, and will definitely be getting all my e-waste in the future

I just sent my first two pallets of material up and it went like clock work! I had the stuff kinda rough sorted in boxes (kept box weights all under 80lb) and the freight arrangements were sweet too; Mario took care of all of that and it was like 100 bucks a pallet (I was quoted 300). It is hard to find folks who do what they say will these days and you can bet I will deal with these folks from now on.

I have sent boards in from flat screen tv's. I'm not sure exactly how they were all graded, but none were considered low-grade. I send in any board, regardless of the source, if it is green with a decent number of IC's or gold tracings.
