Just finished my first transaction and even though I had sent 130 lbs of assorted items due to a move, these guys got the job done and paid out very quickly. I appreciate their customer service and would definitely be doing business with them again. Thanks!
for the newer model phones with a non removable battery, should we break them open to remove the battery or send them whole?
another pleasant surprise......just got notification that a few pounds of my boards got upgraded. Once again another happy transaction

I’ve never been so happy with a buyer of scrap, and I truly mean this. I’ve been sending these guys about a box a week for a few months now and have never been let down. At one point in time my wife packed the wrong batch of motherboards (all still with batteries) and these guys were courteous enough to not discount my payment. Now this is customer service and I have a feeling that this will be the new standard of this industry moving forward.
For too long scrap yards have been taking advantage of their customers by haggling them about the minuscule details of their items not being prepped right, posting prices that they don’t intend on honoring and all around being sharks. There is a real disconnect here, and an opportunity for the companies like E-wasted to steal market share. My humble suggestion, as a part-timer to this business, is that other yards revisit their customer service strategy. You want loyal customers, than I suggest you become loyal to your customers.
Thanking you sincerely,
Jeremiah

I've got to make My post as I've not been on the forum for quite sometimes, from moving two business and getting things setup at my new warehouse. I've had the chance not once but twice now to work with Mario over at E-Wasted, and I'm going to give four thumbs up.. yip toes too...
here the scoop.. mario had save me some drive time, I brought two loads to them approx 4500lbs now and they are honest... up front and no bullcrap..
they weigh You up.. and Pay You on the spot..
Not sure if people remember in the past had a company that wouldn't weigh it, and then only to be shorted.. well folks .. Mario is not like that.. he honest.. and He willing to help you do better.
So again.. FOUR thumbs up for E-wasted.
Does anyone know if Ewasted buys slot processors that have the fingers trimmed. I don't see it on his list but I thought I had sold them to him in the past. I did leave him a message on Saturday but haven't heard back yet.
PM Received.
Put together 4 boxes for shipment. Made my first inquiry about a shipping label and it came back at $2/lb. for a 66 lb box, shipped from 83651.
Can that be right?
Thought I read on here it was averaging around 70 cents a lb using their prepaid labels.
The site is confusing for me, but I'll bet that is what happened. Which means I have screwed up 2 quotes so far.

I am glad i "NEVER" do stuff like that ;-) #goingtohellforlying
If you filled out the request for quote form, showing 4 boxes with a total weight of XX, you will confirm the quote, and when you get the label,(s) one will have the "total weight" and the other 3 will print off showing when they are scanned, that they are ALL part of the same shipment. (I think I explained it right. but have not had my nap so making no promises)![]()
ouch
Okay. I think I got it all squared away.![]()
Mario, I wish you had a "waypoint" halfway between you and the Indy/Cinci/ Dayton/ CBus area. I have close to 200lbs of power supplies, along with 100+ lbs of boards, 100lbs of computer and etc. wire, and more. The local yard used to pay me .25 on power supplies...they are being ****s now and offering .15. Its just....quite a difference between a half day trip and a 9+ hour round trip from Indy.
Ah well. Something will break one way or another. Either I will ship the small goods, or something will work iself out.
Cheers, my friends.
