Got paid today and also got an e-mail about things moving slow at the dock for Mario. In the e-mail there was mention of gaylords full of totally mixed up, ungraded material that had to be sorted, the way I see this is that that kinda stuffing boxes cost every one of us money and time. Take some time folks and remember that easy on Mario and his crew is better for everybody! Who wants to pay a sorting fee and I can imagine how a guy having to dig out boxes like that all day would have a harder time being really enthusiastic about the task. CFCS is a good company to work with and very well operated; lets take care of them better and watch it come back!

I agree- CFCS is amazing. Wish I could amass a gaylord. About as close as I will ever get to one will be the Gaylord Texan Resort about 50 miles from where I live. My boxes usually are around 60#. But I get the same great service as someone with a gaylord. Thanks again, Mario!

Spoke to them on Chat yesterday, was worried about a box that showed delivered on Thurs but did not show as received in my account. Mario's Chat operator was very responsive and shared that they also had some folks out sick, unsorted Gaylords and a higher than normal number of walk-ins, but would be working thru the weekend to catch up. Sounds like Mario's great customer service is blessing him with mucho customers ! As it should be

Can not say enough good things about CFCS. Mario is a hands on owner who is knowledgeable about the ewaste business. Have never had a question not answered by him personally or one of his employees. His staff is always on point and willing to help in all aspects.
I only wish I was closer to them so my boxes could get there quicker. The delays they have happen in every business, its the good ones that let their customer base know what is going on and keeps them informed when there is a problem, like CFCS does. Keep up the good work!!!

Received another payment from CFCS. I got a lot more than I was expecting. My boards were higher grade than I thought they would be. YIPEE!! Working on another box to send them. Thanks to Mario and his staff.

Dont know if there is anything else I can say that hasnt been said about Mario and his crew. But I must say I have been treated like a first class customer and that is hard to come by these days. So thank you Mario, Catherine and the rest of the crew for all your help in the past and hopefully well into the future

I am getting ready to send my first shipment but had a few questions to ask to ensure I have things broke down correctly. I sent 2 chat messages on their website but haven't received a response, is there a phone nmbr I can call? I am confused whether to take all chips off of boards or leave them on? Same goes for hard drives, send whole or break them down? The only things I removed are heatsinks, wires, motors, and other unnecessary metal/ plastic.

Sounds like a good company to do business with and want to make this easy on them but maximize my profits too.

    Scrappygirl,

Sounds like so far your off to a good start with getting the boards prepped. Your correct on removing metal, wires an heatsinks, an all plastic. I believe Mario an co, ask you to take batteries out also if they're motherboards, or anything with them. Removing chips will lower the value of your boards if I recall properly. Doing a search on what to remove might help ya out. There are some threads out there on this subject, can't recall them at the moment tho. Mario an his group are pretty good with getting back to folks. If you still can't get a reply, you can always try PM'ing (once you have enough posts) or emailing him. He's always been quick to reply back with any questions I've had in the past.

Oh an far as hard drives that's up to you, the boards fetch a fair price. Again searching up past threads will be the best suggestion I can give you, as they'll go into way more detail, then I can here.

Not trying to speak for him mind you, but this is my past experience with selling to Mario an his crew. If I forgot anything to remove..please don't hurt me to bad Mario.

Good luck to ya, an I think you'll be happy with your choice in buyers. I know I am.

    Sirscrapalot - I need a drink.

Amen to that! I try to sort my stuff into clear plastic ziploc bags, or at least bundle it and stack it in separate places in the box. I don't want to inconvenience the processors, and, besides, a neat, presorted load moves a lot quicker!

    I sent an email with the same question but, in case any one else may have some;

Li-SO2 batteries (from defibrillators), do you buy them at all?

Done a lot of searching and there isn't a lot of info out there about them.

I got them from the local FD.

    PS.

I've been dealing with CFCS for over a year and have had a great experience each and every load.

I sent my girlfriend up with a small load of stuff and she was very impressed with them personally.

She expounded on how friendly and helpful everyone was.

There's my bit of kudos that I've been meaning to give.

    P4s definitely.

There are at least a few different XEON CPUs, (Slot, Pinned, Pinless).

Pinned "Copper Top", (yes, the metal on top is copper) would fall into this category.

Mario has bought the defib batteries before as litho ion from me. ALthough I found they sell for a great deal of money on ebay as untested sold as is.
