Until a few weeks ago, I had not done business with these folks in quite a while, because my local buyers were paying decent. With prices down, and an awesome resident freight shipper available here, I decided to send a load in. I sent two gaylords of material, mostly mid grade, peripheral, and telecom. My payout was much higher than I expected, by more than 500.00. The turn around time was pretty reasonable and they responded quickly to my questions. I will be sending another load soon.

In your price list you list tape drive boards. "Paid on sort"
Can you clarify what you are sorting out?
is,what you want and don't want mixed in.

It's a variable price like his telecom pricing. There are several grades within the category

had to make sure not only to thank the team at cfcs but to make sure that anyone selling should always do business with them. I had run into a bit of a problem when I was shipping a pallet out to them as I live in a residential area so I needed a truck with a lift gate and a pallet jack as I got rid of mine awhile ago.
they set everything up with the first company and 1st day went by no call no show from that company saying they did not have a truck in the area b.s. excuses when it was a scheduled pick up but not guaranteed. one call to Mario and he found this out right away even tried that company the 2nd day but no luck. called back and between the customer service that is outstanding and a reliable second company they called not only did I get it out the next day but they set a window for pickup they called in advance to let me know there in town and even showed up lol but more so with a semi a great driver and fast easy service.
then of course when it got there the cfcs team sorted it fast and my check is on the way not to mention the over 200 screens showed up not mysteriously broken like another company on here had so much trouble with.
cfcs makes sure to deliver not only on great prices but the best customer service around. so thankyou to the team and look forward to shipping even bigger amounts

Sent my first shipment about a week ago. Everything went pretty smooth. One tiny hiccup which was taken care of in a very timely manner. A few quick emails back and forth and I have a 2nd check for the error and difference in payout on the way. Gotta say this has been some of the friendliest and most helpful customer service I've ever dealt with. That alone gives these guys an A+ in my book. I look forward to putting another shipment together as even paying shipping, their prices blow anything local out of the water. Thanks CFCS and crew.

I have about 20 working computers that are to old to sell that I need to get rid of. Would they be worth the shipping charge, about 3 hours from Cleveland and a discounted rate from ups. From what I have read ewasted has the best prices in my area. I know i need to do some processing myself, removing batteries, metal, sorting. I did not see anything about video cards, are those considered circuit boards? To maximize profit should I be taking apart the hard drives or shipping them whole and any other tips for parts you find in a 10 year old computer.

spend some time the forum...there is a sticky thread on identifying computer parts...this is help you TREMENDOUSLY.

The answer on the cards in computers is for the most part they fall into the category of "finger boards". You just need to pull off any large aluminum heatsinks or fans.

AND YES, do NOT ship those whole...take about 5-10 min to pull apart for the goodies. sell wire, power supply and case locally....possibly CD drives and hard drives as well if you have a buyer (I do pull the hard drive boards and send them to Mario however).

Could you give me a little clarification on the IC/Eprom category? Does this cover any and all ic chips? Socketed, soldered? Last time I was in I had 43 lbs. of all types of ic chips and they got tossed in to the mid grade low category at .25/lb.

The items that go into mid grade low would be the copper transistors - these have NO gold in them. They generally have 3 legs. Eproms and IC chips are just that. You can email us in and we can send over some photos for your review.

Nice Prices. You will probably be getting my materials in about a week or two. I was offered high numbers a few weeks ago by a company out of Florida that had a warehouse in Memphis. The sales rep sounded very uncertain when talking about scrap. Well to make a long story short they were going to get a couple pallets from me until they retracted their first set of numbers and wouldn't quote any prices on scrap materials aside from processors. Are these numbers stable?
