Are they still in business? I have tried contacting through email, contact form, and even here with private message, and have not received a reply back in over a weeks time. Has anybody got an idea if they are still in operation? or had contact recently?

Just replied! Sorry about that! I remembered clicking through your links of images and my computer froze so I never did send a response.

PM me your email address, I want to see if they are ending up in spam.

    Thanks!

Indeed, I was just ripped off very recently, that story, plus some random, genuinely rediculous occurences from that same day on another Ohio purchasers page coming soon, stay tuned, it's a real knee slapper...........

Sorry to hear about a bad experience. It is hard to tell from your post, but want to ensure it wasn't from us!

Yes, sadly the LCD market has declined significantly... I fully expect LCDs to be the next CRT crisis.... I hope I am wrong!

I hope so too- the CRT crisis is bad enough!

I'm not so sure I follow you on this. What do you mean by "crisis?" What I think of when it comes to the CRT crisis is that they are costly to get rid of, keeping most of us away from recycling them.

Yes I believe these will be costly to recycle as the reuse/refurb market slowly dwindles as supply outpaces demand.

I thought is may be a helpful question to others as well as me.

"$1.50 Laptop Screens [per UNIT] Must be in case, pass light test, be in tact, no bleeding, water damage or cracks. Cut wire -$1.00/unit - NO Netbook Screens - ONLY for Laptop Screens"

"Must be in case" what case the laptop screen back? "No Netbook Screens" Yes this is a serious question. Nothing under 12" , 14" ?

Sorry but I am gearing up for another shipment. Thanks for being a great buyer, Mike

    Hello
Essentially below 13"... the case would be the screenback/bezel - so in other words if you send just a panel, not the "top half" of the laptop, there would be a deduction.

FYI Our freight processing is behind by about 5-10 days. We apologize for the delay... doing everything we can.
Combination of material coming in that isn't presorted, cleaned or prepared.
    Thanks

Sorry to hear that. If there is anything we can do to make the sorting process easier for your team let us know. I try to box, bag or separate the different materials , memory, finger cards, hard drives, cell phones etc... except for the mother boards ( they all go together in one box) as I trust your team better than myself to fairly sort them. As far as preparing -I think you mean removing extra plastics and metals, taping batteries terminals etc . regarding cleaning I am not sure I clean anything other than heavily dusted packed heat sinks. Is there more that we could be doing ? Please let us know, if we need to step it up , will do- currently working on another load now.

Wow! Was not expecting that. Just sent my first load of ewaste ever, processing took longer than expected (look a couple posts above for why) just got the appraisal and was not expecting nearly that much. Can't say thank you enough to Mario and the crew at CFCs for a great experience. May be a while before I can make another load but Ewasted will be the only one getting my junk....I mean valuable stuff. Thanks again everyone!

After reading all the positive feedback on ewasted, they have just earned my business. Boardsort was where I had planned on sell my material but I am for sure going to be working with this company.
