I've dealt with you before I believe. Sometimes we need to take a breath and have patience, particularly over holiday weekends. I don't speak for EWasted obviously but in our shop we staggered the holiday where I covered the holiday while everyone else took vacation, then I took a few days while I had staff on hand. We continued a partial production throughout the week before and after. We also understand that when everyone else gets some vacation time stored up to use they tend to send us material in literal droves. It happens so far, like clockwork every year. Holidays before and after are ALWAYS an influx of inbounds. The two months leading up to fiscal year end and christmas are ALWAYS busy and we are in that period now. Patience is a virtue. You absolutely need to understand we are not walmart or amazon. You can have quality service, accurate service or fast service, pick two.

I apologize if I've overstepped, but it needs to be understood ALL buyers active on this forum are here to provide five star service and many times we do that on skeleton crews, late nights and weekends, all so you can get paid the absolute best prices available.

My association with Ewasted has been since late 2011 through this summer. I communicate via his web site and have had not communication issues. When I read you haven't received responses to your messages I assumed you were using either his website or his email. Each of the buyers have pointed out their preferred method of contact and Ewasted has as well.

I suggest you used the preferred methods with all buyers giving you both the most direct and reliable communications.

You will notice you referred to your messages being ignored and Ewasted referred to not being able to find your emails. 73, Mike

I am not here to bash you, and I hope nobody uses my experience to judge theirs. You have been great over the years honestly.

I received the payment, so I thank you for that. I think I am leaving the scrap business all together with.
Therein lies the challenge. We have a very strong/solid reputation and have had experience with us. Why the need to send "test" material using an "alias"?

The only thing I can think of is perhaps I sent the message and was restricted on times between messages. I am shocked that I wouldn't have responded.

I am still waiting to hear back about how we haven't responded to any messages, unless you are referring to one PM on here.

Although your intent isn't/wasn't to bash us, that was the way it was received. There was no mention or indication of us being dishonest in this transaction or any others... I do appreciate you mentioning experiences have been positive.

I am at a loss here on how we can possibly better service when nothing was answered. I also don't know what you meant by you will take your business elsewhere and now you may leave scrap all together? Why are you leaving the scrap business?

Appears you have done everything you can do..........Not sure where all this is coming from.........The scrap business can be very frustrating but also very rewarding!!...........I think most of us long time members here do everything we can to make sure all transactions are completed in a professional manner.......I wish Mr. Pink Floyd all the best in his future endeavors and wish him the best........Thanks again to Ewasted for stepping forward and owning the situation.......I frequently use his service as well as other buyers here........No major issues on this Forum

My 2nd pallet was received friday, and payment was made yesterday! And it was a higher payout than I expected. No complaints here. Im working on enough telecom next to yield 2 gaylords full and was just given 40 laptops and approx 350 complete hard drives to pull apart.

Dang, just saw I missed the price jump by 1 day! Story of my life I swear

I have used ewasted many times in the past, and continue to use in the future. Hell, I just had a package received on Monday. It's Friday. My package has not be processed yet, but I'mma not about to get on here and raise hell, or bash.
Any issue I've had has been fixed quickly. Very trustworthy business. No need to test the water.
    Great job. Mario and staff

By the way, his perferred contact method is email or his site, not SMF......

$0.40 Li Ion Rechargeable - Non Laptop and Cell (Exposed terminals MUST be taped)(No ECIG or Lithium Compound batteries!) I wondered what type of batteries were in the e cigs. I will add these to the pile of NiCad, NiMh and Lithium button batteries that I take to Lowes to recycle every so often.

Well you just received an other shipment and came here to post about it. I ran into all of this. I just want to say E-Wasted you handled this situation a lot better then I would have. My next mission is to try and shove 6 1/2 lbs of RAM into a Flat Rate Envelope, slap it on Ebay for $20 a lbs if it doesn't sell ship
    it to E-wasted.

Ok so here is another great experience from E-Wasted:
I noticed a typo in the price, so I emailed him on his website and this forum. That same day he contacted me not just through my email but here in private message. Not only that a couple days later he contacted my to ensure the problem was taken care of. He treated me like the value of the mistake was hundreds of dollars but in reality it was $13 and some change. Mario great customer service as always. Thanks for another great experience.

I'm not sure if I'm posting this question in the right place. Apologies in advance if not. Does anyone find a particular weight to be the most cost effective when sending in boards etc? For example would you ship 20 pounds of laptop boards to ewasted or would you wait till 50 or even bundle various items and send by freight? I appreciate anyone's input

Freight! The best thing is to get a pallet, a mellon fruit box and send it.

Freight is by far the most cost effective. Frieght makes power boards worth shipping depending on what your local yard pays for breakage.

The answer is, it depends... different items have different values, which may depend on what cost you have into them. The ideal parcel weight is roughly 65-68 lbs per box.
If you really want to save on shipping, you have to grow into a solid freight program with us over time.

Hey! Yes a little backed up! When did you email? Boards and CPUs should be done within that time frame. Should have it resolved tomorrow some time for you! I am out in the morning but can dig into it in the afternoon.

I emailed early today due to the online chat being offline every time I checked it today. Not trying to be a pain, just surprised. Its usually 2-3 days and settlement is issued on non-laptop/LCD shipments.

Lost a key admin person a couple of weeks back and working on back filling that role... sorry for the short term, temporary inconvenience. It is audit season too... sigh.
