You could sign up for it to sent to your e-mail box about once a week.
So after quite a few payment issues like lost paperwork and excessive payable times I was assured the kinks with payment were worked out. I brought a load of 426lbs of transformers into the Orlando ARCOA on Sept 14, 2012. I was given a vendor form stapled on top of my scale receipt that states payment terms are NET 15 and was told about the 15 day maximum payment time after I was "assured" everything was worked out. After 20 business days past I called the Orlando ARCOA facility and followed up with an email to both the Orlando ARCOA Facility and directly to George. To this day i have not received any email back however I did see the Orlando employee and they told me they also forwarded the email I sent them to George. IT IS NOW NOVEMBER 1, 2012 MORE THAN a month and a half and I still have yet to be paid or hear of payment.
Took in another load on OCTOBER 4th that consisted of items like more transformers and laptop batteries and so forth. I have yet to see payment for these items as well.
The major problem with Arcoa is the Orlando facility has no control other than drop off and logging what you dropped.
I would like to say we have been paid for every load in the past no matter how much of a hassle/how long it took we did not get scammed. Although If you want hassle free service with 15 business day or under payment you might be very disappointed. In my case it is 1.5 month and 1 month and still no payment.
What's going on with your load any word on payment yet?
The Payment for October 4th was received last Monday. The Payment for September 14 is pending but I have been assured as of last Wed/Thurs it has been taken care of.
Where is your Chicago location located at? I shipped my 1st shipment to ewasted, but since chicago is so close to me it may be easier just bringing in the larger motherboards to the location.
Be careful dealing with ARCOA i myself dont find it worth the headache and do no encourage anyone to use their services. But hey if you like to gamble might roll the dice.
yeah these jokers just need to pay him already this is beyond nuts
They have a yard near me in MD, but their pricing in my opinion isn't justifiable enough to make the trip.
Plus, if they can't pay me before I leave, then no thanks.
whats your pricing for hard drives without boards? i like your lithium ion battery prices also
My name is Todd, and I'm a buyer for ARCOA. ScrapYaHerd, if you've dropped off material and have not been paid for it, please email me at tanderson(at)arcoausa.com or call me on my cell at 320-761-7759. There were admittedly some issues in Orlando, but I believe those have been addressed by now. I'll need backup documentation, but I will help in any way I can.
I really don't have a dog in this fight but why can you not get paid when you drop off the material??
I just sent you the price list for the day we dropped off, the count/weigh sheet, and the Buyers info Cover sheet. This has been more of a hassle than the amount of money owed is worth... I'm glad I kept track of my paperwork or then what?
I'm here to finally say everything is completely settled with ARCOA. Todd was a great help, he cleared up almost 4 months of problems in a total of 1 week start-finish. I hope in the future we can do timely business because like I have said your company is easy to deal with in every other aspect.
For anyone else just hold onto Todds info and your receipts and everything should be great.
I'm glad to hear that this is fully resolved. The causes for most of the problems you experienced have been addressed - all I did was bat clean-up.
Moving forward, if the load is arranged through me I can generally prevent problems from occurring in the first place. It's much easier than trying to resolve them after they occur.
Thanks,
Todd

Orlando has a new manager and looks like all the problems are resolved. I set up a load of floppies,HD, and power supplies with Todd and dropped it with Jeff on the 30th. The eight gaylords would have overloaded my trailer's gross so I needed to do two runs. jeff postponed his pickups and waited on me for the second one.
Terms were 15 days net and check arrived today.Good communication with Todd and Kelly in the office. IMHO as long as load is clean and you have paperwork in order you will have a great transaction dealing with Todd. I'll give them another load next week.
Great to Hear!
