Quite a few scrap questions

I have plenty of TV motherboards, a couple PC motherboards, steel, brass, copper and everything. I should have these seperated to where I get the most for my money, correct? Plug ends, anything in them? Silverware, should I seperate it? Coax cable, keep it seperate? The local scrap yard does not take coax cable or Christmas lights. I also need to find more sources of scrap. Do I just speak to the manager/owner of the business I would like to potentially get metal from? I do thrift store shopping for brass.

#1- No mother boards in TV's, only (brown) circuit boards.
#2- Take the time and read thru the older stuff, all your questions are already answered.

In my experience, strip tv and seperate your copper and aluminum. Break the cores for copper. Silverware is typically shred. Coax is shred. My yard takes Christmas lights as breakage..
