People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.
Hey Mick I found this website it has a good list of prices and a list of pictures to identify the types of converters

Thanks, Andrew. I'd tried looking online, but couldn't even find something like this. Hard to believe somebody hasn't written a book for identifying catalytic converters.
Actually there is a book dedicated to this. I can scan it if anybody's interested.
What's the title? I found one on Amazon that cost me $40. The less said about it, the better.

Its at this link.
Kinda regret buying it to be honest. Not enough writing in it...just a bunch of pictures and stuff.
Same one I got. I'd gotten your PM before I saw this. Total waste of money.
I would've returned it but I got it around the time the 30 day period was up. =/
Oh well you live and learn I guess.
That's what I told myself.
It would probably be a good idea to check your local library and get it for a week or so for free.
I will try kinda hard to tell on a few and not knowing what they came off of but here you go.I will start at the top and work my way down.

Love it !!!!!
I am hearing of loads being cheery picked for example:
There is a camry converter worth about $40 while another one that looks exactly the same is worth over $150 (in todays market).
The only way to tell the difference is the code stamped into the housing.
And this is only one example there are many more like this.
Has anyone else figures any of this out?
