Catalytic convertors

Does anyone know where or how I can get a guide or catalog to identify catalytic convertors?

Thanks, Andrew. I'd tried looking online, but couldn't even find something like this. Hard to believe somebody hasn't written a book for identifying catalytic converters.

It would probably be a good idea to check your local library and get it for a week or so for free.

I will try kinda hard to tell on a few and not knowing what they came off of but here you go.I will start at the top and work my way down.
Ford?

Small Foreign
Bead
Ford?
Pellet
Either wires or ford's
2 honeycomb's
2 gm's
aftermarket
Jeep
Honey comb
either large ford or straight body
Vent tube gm?
Large Ford/truck

either large ford or straight body.

I am hearing of loads being cheery picked for example:
There is a camry converter worth about $40 while another one that looks exactly the same is worth over $150 (in todays market).
The only way to tell the difference is the code stamped into the housing.
And this is only one example there are many more like this.
Has anyone else figures any of this out?
