Some Prices in Oregon on 7/25

Went in with a small load today (I am a small players for those who haven't read my intro)

    31lb Bright Wire = 3.00/lb =93
    80 lbs Lt Contaminated 6063 Aluminum = .55/lb = 44
    10 lbs PC Power Supplies .30/lb = 3
    19lbs #2 Insulated 1.0/lb = 19

The last time I was in was June 12th. Aluminum and Copper prices are the same as then.
I haven't shopped around, all the other yards are and additional 7+ miles from me so with my small quantities I'd just waste it all in gas. But at least gives folks a reference.

silver do they require yellow and red brass seperation? I have to poke at that yet at my yard. Haven't taken brass in. They are so big I try and only ask one or two questions each time I go. The guys all around me had 5K plus loads to my 159...lol

silverz and gord those prices seem pretty similiar to us in massaschusetts except that 115/ton light iron is ridiculously low, 205 here, the only real problem is there is really only 1 ewaste buyer out of like 8 yards in the same general area, and ive never tried them out

Not sure. This is only my second load and I haven't had any other brass. I had to ask a lot of questions about sorting. They weren't very busy so they had time to train me.

Lucky you. I haven't been able to find an e-scrap buyer within 100 miles yet. There are some in the Portland area but they don't come close to the buyers on this forum.
