so far it finds gold well AL Galvanized steel SS but CU not so well & iron no must need adjustments

take the model number and go to radio shack website and look for a manual. Actually, the ones I've used found iron/steel better than anything
if you're finding gold, you're doing better than i ever did with one of em

I got an awesome detector and I have found more gold in peoples garbage. Of actual value detecting I think I have found about $.96 in coin. Def doing good if your finding gold.

Better reword - it is detecting gold , I have to get out there to find it still . I think this model is selective
