    Scrap metal price predictions

Merry Christmas to All (Sorry I cannot say Happy Holidays because of my Christian upbringing and love of country)

As I read the posts, it seems several of you have been very accurate on your predictions for future prices for scrap metal. Anyone willing to make a prediction where you think prices will be in Jan. and Feb. or even beyond? I made the transition from part time to full time scrapper this month and spent the time setting up my business based on recommendations from this forum. I set a goal to start hauling the first of January and will make this goal, so I am wondering what to expect. I want to thank everyone that has provided information on this forum and wish everyone a Happy New Year.

Now it is time to return to the family and enjoy the spirit of Christmas.

I have heard UP but not by much it could go sideways or down to but I don't think it's going up or down by more then 10 or 20 bucks.

I don't know which way it's going but I've heard that it always goes up after election year.

    383 tons = 20 billion using simple 383t x 2000lb x 16oz x $1600

being they own at least a trillion of our debt, 20 B is about 1/50th of that

I wouldn't call that a threat to our society.... I'd call that a tendency towards VERY BAD investing.

Keep your assets in fungible goods/commodities & you'll do just fine when we inflate our way out of debt leaving them holding worthless paper.

Knowledge of the difference between paper and real, indeed.
