    Today's Load and Thank You

Took in a load today, and here are the results:

    Lessons learned:
    1. I lost money on plastic. Steel and shred are the same thing at my yard. I cleaned my metal up WAY too much, and I spent more effort doing it than I should have.

    2. If I am going to turn something in as Stainless, it has to be completely nonmagnetic. There is no distinction at my yard. If it is magnetic, it is considered Irony Stainless, therefore shred/steel.

    3. My yard does not buy plug ends.

To the forum, I say thank you. I would not have made near this much if it were not for the free advice I got from many of you. I figure that I made at the very least $37 more than I would have had I not joined the forum. As soon as the check clears, I will be purchasing a Scrap Room membership. The best part is, I still have an e-waste shipment to send out.

I had to change my image hosting site. This is how the original post should have looked.

Oh, I will not be forgetting. One of the best pieces of advice I got on here was to take a pad of paper with categories and weights I had predetermined with me. I did not even have to ask. They just started confirming my weight with me.
