My #2 is still only back up to .80 from .70/lb where it once sat not so long ago at 1.10.. I negotiated with the yard the other day to get .90.. told him it wasn't worth dragging in for any less than that. He was able to give me the .90. Still not 1.10.. but better than .70 or .80
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!
It was all server power cords. I've always got #2 price for them. Ill call John (manager) this pm. they must have priced it as cat 5/6. The slip does list it as #2 insulated. sent my son with the load, that may have been the mistake. It has happened before.
I just got 1.05 in Aug up from .90 in April and these loads were less than 100 lbs. That has to be a mistake hopefully it was and they can fix it for you...
ya I hear ya 40miles away its 95clb but here in town its 35centslb that's why I bought me a wire stripping machine but now do not have enough wire to keep up with how fast it can strip but paid for itself in the first 10days had it for a few months now and it makes the difference still strip tv wires by hand though with all that tape to gunk it up
i got 1.08 yesterday for number 2 and .68 for number 3
UPDATE: fortunately it was in a gaylord and full. John called me back with 1.02, and apologized saying his guys still get confused on com wire. thinking all com wire was com wire price.
Thats why they are your favorite yard! $374.00 more sounds great
