    New guy here... CFL

Hi all, I hang doors and do custom woodworking, but when I do come across a good bit I will clean wire and such in my spare time. I am in CFL and have come across a substantial amount of large copper. I am talking 350 and 500 mcm 300' runs or so, and quite a few of them. I have been getting 2.80 a lb stripped and the 500 is 1.65 lb a foot. Is there a way I can sell a large amount with outstripping and not take a hit to 1.50? Thanks from the new guy...

Nope, If you don't strip it then it's going to sell for insulated. If you don't have a wire stripper, either buy or build one to make the job easier. We have links here for both ideas.

It doesn't hurt trying to negotiate a better price if you are getting 500 lbs at a time.
