I've only tried a couple different places (RSI recycling, and recently Lake State Recycling.) If you do a search for 'scrap yards MN' a few more options should come up.

Thanks, I'll give them a shot. Never even considered turning in my escrap at the yard. I'm used to the downtown yards (off Broadway or N 2nd St) where they don't even list prices for boards/fingers.Originally Posted by Caveman

Check their websites or give them a call before you drag the stuff in. Some don't take e-waste at all, some don't pay squat.

Finally a thread I can get into. I go to RSI but as of last Monday they are now Northern Metal. If you want the best prices for your escrap, my vote is for Enviro Chem in Rogers. You get all the prices up front and they are a refinery so they can cut better deals.
The RSI that I usually go to typically are a bunch of goons when it comes to E scrap. The manager came out and weighed my processors and memory. He then gave me a low ball quote for both but then dropped the weights so I was only going to be paid less.
Maybe its better now that they're owned by another company...

Where did you take your escrap to? My yard said my Cu/Al heatsinks were only "breakage". WTF?
I have used Lake States in Elk River and IRT in Monticello
