Transformer Value

Can anyone give me a guess on the value of this transformer. Here's what is says on it



Approximate weight in pounds

Core and coil- 1514
Tank and fittings- 488
162 GALS-Oil-1184

If the core and coil is 1514 lbs. Transformer price here is about .20/lbs = $302.8

Or if you dispose of the oil, scrap the tank and fittings and break the coil down you will have a much larger payday with the copper.

What kind of transformer is it?

I believe it's empty of oil. Does this pic answer the type?

Don't have anything to do with a transformer built in that era without a certified clean oil test. I manage the inventory for an electric utility. All of our transformers that are not labeled as no PCB's get an oil sample sent for testing. The rebuilders will only take units of less than 5ppm of PCB's. Above that I have to pay a specialist disposal company to haul and incinerate the transformer. To move one that is classes as PCB or PCB contaminated requires hazmat certification.

I am SURE in NY you can break down this thing and get paid well for it.....!
