In Southern Oregon, shred @ $140 a ton at the yard I go to. $80/ton at the one I don't go to. Best price on Short Heavy steel I can find is & $160 per ton. It has been like this for a while.

i take mine to sioux city compressed steel. its actually in iowa. the yard is in sergeant bluff,ia
i know there is one in norfolk,ne to somewhere but i never been to that yard. i live out in the country in nebraska 30 miles away. sioux city compressed steel is the closest to me. that why i go there.
They finally went up to $150.00 ton. whats that like half a cent? lol

As soon as I knew I was heading to Cincy.. I thought of you my brotha! We were on a 1 day hit it and get it family fun day. Got down to the water park about 12:00 and slid until they kicked us out at 8.. grabbed some McD's down the street and headed home.. At some point you and I will meet up! Just too darn close not to get together!
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!
