    Great website!

    Rockaway Recycling of NJ

Here's a great website I've been using to learn about different non-ferrous metal, as well as has a great price list to give the general idea of what you should be getting. Click on the "pictures + material" tab and click through the pictures. I've found the prices aren't updated all too often, but when they are, they are close to my yard. Enjoy!

Great link. Nice to see that price list, hard to find. Although I find the copper prices there very low!
I find a nice glow come across my wallet comparing those numbers to what my yard pays just up the road from me.

Now if we could just curb the gas prices! Argh!...

The prices seem about where my yard is based on bright copper price. This place is a couple hours away from me, so guess I shouldn't be too surprised. My yard told me they don't have a list "because the price of metal flucuates to much." Gotta look into NY law to see what is required of them. I gotta see if my yard separates out as many different metals as Rockaway. If they do, I'm gonna need more buckets!

Good point there mate! Some yards just group metals together to rip ya and others pay different prices for each type.
Separation is key! Smart move dude.
I am very lucky my yard pays well, but competition makes that happen, there is at least five scrap yards within 10 miles around me!

A good note here; The current yard I deal with gives me top dollar only because of my conversation before my first unload!!!

I am not sure about that but they sure are climbing fast. Was $3.29 yesterday at the cheapest place I seen.
