    The really best way to know what it is worth is to take a sample and strip it. Weighed it before an after. That way you will no what the % is of insulate vs wire and nobody can lie to you. All insulated wire is priced on the recovery of copper so that is why we do that when we are not sure. Also this tells you is the wire is #2 or barebrite inside which also decides the price.
